As we bask in the afterglow of the Resolute webisodes and get ready for Adult Swim this weekend, check out my customized YouTube playlist...if you let it sit, it'll play through all 10 episodes in order. Quality is pretty good, too.

A great way to waste 50 minutes of your life.

Resolute Playlist

Justin

How can they make a series out of this? Seriously.

There won't be any Cobras LEFT by the time it's over. Who are they going to fight? Croc Master and Raptor?

It would give them an excuse to come up with some new characters.

which was kind of the purpose of the original comic anyway. I always wanted a more diverse, and occassionally more realistic set of bad guys to go up against, so I'd be all for it. So long as the creation of new characters didn't go hand in hand with neon colored figures, and other wacky stuff. But new characters with the tone of Resolute would rock.

I encourage anyone in the U.S. to watch through adult swim. The hits there I'm sure count for something and you know Hasbro and TPTB are watching those hits to judge whether to do anything more or not. I appreciate these being made available on youtube for our foreign fan friends but if you're here in the U.S., please view through adult swim's website.

Justin, I have to say you putting these videos up really did me a favour. There's no way I could have made it through the Canadian Joe Con without hearing Resolute spoilers. Seeing these episodes fresh feels is more than just rock solid entertainment, it's GI Joe history in the making.

While I understand and appreciate your point, Hasbro would have to be blind not to see how positive the reaction to Resolute has been-- especially if they have the web presence that they say they do.

I haven't seen a response this overwhelmingly positive within the Joe community (and outside, for that matter) in a long time, and all the custom Resolute figures, video clips, message board posts, and blog articles can only reinforce that Hasbro has a hit on their hands.

The fans want more Resolute, and Hasbro would be absolutely stupid not to continue both the toys and the show, especially with the influx of new fans the movie will bring in that will be rabid for anything Joe.

For sure, fans should show their support by visiting the official site(s), but it should be a great sign to Hasbro that fans dig Resolute enough to post Youtube channels or share the custom toys via other, secondary means.

The demand is there.

Hasbro just needs to not drop the ball.

I finished watching the episodes today and I must say I was happy to see that GI Joe has stayed true to its roots...no matter how much ammo is thrown at a Joe, Cobra still cannot shoot straight. It started in the MASS device and continues with Resolute! COBRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA! :-P
