Wow, I just looked an hour ago, and they were in stock! Unless this was one of TRU's famous "Made you look- there out of stock" glitches they have from time to time!

Looking at the UPS website, mine are "out for delivery", so I should have a few boxes waiting for me when I get home today. :-D

Now if I can just keep myself from going back and ordering more of them, but at this price, it's really hard to hold off on armybuilding them, beyond what I already planned to.

Anyone else wanting $4.99 HK's, better hurry. The sale is only valid through tomorrow (5-23).

The limit is 2 items, per order. So if you place, say, 3 orders for 2 per order. Then the sale price will apply to all 6 of them. :-D

Each order, for 2 HK's with shipping included, only comes out to around $16.93. So after shipping, and all, they are about $8.50 each.

Yeah, you nailed it. I just placed my second order. I can't say I am absoultely in love with the item (I received my first order yesterday), and I really have no intent to use them in a Terminator type of way. But for that price, it remains hard not to want more. Your army-building comment kind of hit home for me. I have a lot of pilots as WIPs right now, and never really had much expectation of providing them with individualized rides. Now that will change. Question is now whether 4 is enough, or whether 6 has a better sound to it. lol

I went ahead and ordered 2 A-10s. I figure why not. That price is cheaper than clearance. I bet the shipping depeartment of TRU website is saying "What the heck is up with these? Is the movie that popular?" Obviously they're not looking at the glitch on the page, hehe.
