I like the firecrackers one. We need to do that.

It would be funny to do a porkchop sandwiches one but with disaterous results. :rotfl:

Love the first 2 psa ideas. Hilarious!

Since I'm coming quite a distance, I figure munchies and drinks would be best for me to bring. Is that sitll ok, or do we have too much of that by now? I could do both or focus on one or the other. Lemme know!

Could you be a little more specific as to what type of munchies and drinks you'll be bringing, so that I can add them to the list? Thanks!

The Giant has a coupon for party trays. I'm not sure which one is the best but I'll bring one, probably a lunch meat tray.

I'll put down party (lunch meat) tray next to your name. If you want to list the other types in this thread, perhaps we can help you with your choice, if you're having doubts. I can always update the list, if needed.

I'll bring some soda...Would 2 liter bottles or cans be better? The bottles would go further probably and I can bring cups. How much would be good to bring? And, let's see...I'll bring pretzels and BBQ chips...specific enough? :D

I plan to bring cans of soda, so if you bring 2-L bottles and cups, it will give attendees an option to drink less soda if they don't feel that they can finish an entire can.

Regarding quantity, I'd recommend a minimum of two 2-L bottles. I'll be bringing about 3 fridge-pack cases of soda (Coke/Pepsi, Diet Coke/Pepsi, Sprite/7-Up). If anyone here recommends more or less, let us know.

Pretzels and BBQ chips sound good. For our purposes, it's specific enough. If I really wanted you to be specific, I'd ask you for the brand, shape of the pretzels, ridged or smooth potato chips, bag size (oz.), etc. :-) Instead, I'll let those details be a surprise. ;-)

I will add all three items to the list next to your name. Thanks!

Wow, this is what I call one heck of a mini-Con going on. Can't wait to bring my :irongrenadier: I.G. suit. I don't know what else the Tri-State Vipers are going to bring, but it's gonna be great!

Now, gents.
Any chance someone can show up and play :headman: Headman.
A yellow zoot suit is going for $50. I'd rather you guys go as the yellow version since the '92 version's character was a dastardly evil-doer. But I'm sure a some skits would be comedy gold if you use the Headman character.

HOLY CRAP. I dissapear and this event takes off. Maybe I was holding you guys back. Anyways I plan to be there. Been so busy with things going on at the moment. Just tell me what I need to bring. If some of you could bring cash. I plan to drop off alot of my stuff. Not asking alot. Infact I will probably take whatever is offered. I just need to get it out of the house. I am not getting rid of all my stuff, still working on some projects, they just got put on hold this year. Can't wait to see you all again.

Ok, I will remove the question mark next to your name on the attendee list.

If you could bring gatorade and bottled water as you did at previous picnics, that would be great. Especially since all we have to drink right now is soda.

Please confirm your potluck contribution and I will add it to the list. Thanks!

I'm planning to bring more than that...you can never have too many drinks. ;) Um...the non-alcoholic kind...LOL

Funny guy. The pretzels will be sticks and the BBQ chips will be an awesome kind that a local store carries and you'll never find anywhere else. Maybe. ;)

Curiosity...Anyone who's going play the GI Joe TCG game? I've recently gotten into it and am planning to bring my cards along for giggles. I'll have a couple of decks built just in case anyone wants to play, if we have time. ;) If anyone else collects, I'd love to see whatcha got in case we can trade! :)

Thank you for your interest.

It's on May 30th. If you can change your plans and come earlier, perhaps you can join us. You're more than welcome. :-)

Here's a thought.

Anyone want to make a pinata of Big Brawler and stuff him with action figures that nobody wants? Like perhaps some new sculpt figures from the mid-2000s? 8-O

Nah, it's probably a bad idea. But if anyone makes the pinata, be my guest. :rotfl:

I'm looking forward to trying those BBQ chips. You've certainly piqued my curiosity.

One of the Tri-State Vipers may be into the TCG game, but I wouldn't swear to it. You can certainly bring a couple decks and see if anyone attending (but perhaps not from this board) would be interested in playing (trading).
