Check out what one of my friends found for me at a yard sale last weekend. It cost him 10$Can, but he gave them to me in exchange for some empty boxes for his upcoming move.

The Joes have tight joints and no rusted screws. There are a few busted crotches, but nothing I can't deal with.

Thank goodness for good friends :-D

Thats awesome. I had a friend surprise me by buying me a Marvel Select Zombie Hulk once. I've still yet to hug him for that. :shifty:

I see a total Bud Light "I love you man" moment there. Makes me tear up like an old phone company commercial.

This stuff always amazes me. I usually find a few junk figures for $2 each. Well, that and about a zillion McDonald's happy meal toys. I never see stuff like this. Awesome stuff. Awesome friend.

By the way, what do those yellow ladders go to?

Is it possible they are from Adventure People? Maybe a construction set?

You are correct -they're Adventure People Construction ladders. I had a set of those things forever (bought 'em new in a drug store back in the 70s.)

Great haul -- any one of those things can go for more than $10 online, so it's good to have friends indeed.

I never have any luck like this - granted, I hardly go to any yard sales or anything, but when I do - nothing.

Thanks for rubbing our noses in it! :P

That is amazing. I guess somebody had a box in the attic. I have ahd a lot of friends tell me that there old Joes are in the attic at thier parent's house and they would hook me up and never did. I guess I' should just go to the parent's garage sells.

Thats awesome. My homies gave me some stuff in 02, but the best thing, they've been buying all the 25th single packs for me and keeping them stored for me until I come and visit. Friends pwn, as they say on the streets.

I am guessing you got a great deal, although until I see pictures of the empty boxes I don't know for sure.

That is an amazing collection to get. It is good to see that the figures were so well looked after for all the years. Little paint wear, many of the accessories there.

You can also look at the pictures and see what else the former owner may have had. Mutt's gun, a Water Mocassin torpedo, Thunder's viewing device, the box for Zartan's vehicle.

Thank you for showing the pictures and telling the great story.

unbelievable $10CDN!?!?!? Every weekend we drive by all these garage sale signs and I'm always tempted to stop but the wife has this stigma about other people's "junk". What a beautiful find...kiss him!
