Anyone else finishing up their projects for Saturday too?

Chuckles,

If you can find an extra Coalcracker vs. Baron Von Anthracite set for Ronin, that would be great. Especially since he helped fund (and disassemble) that exclusive set.

Just a general FYI...I just noticed on the schedule that it say's "MacGyver's Sigma Six Eye Painting Demo." It won't be limited to just Sigmas. Time permitting, I'm planning to show at least one eyeball each on a male and female Sigma as well as on a male 25th. If anyone has a 25th female they want me to demo on, I'm happy to. I just don't have a female head handy. It's not that male and female eyes are all that different, but it might be handy to see.

Thanks for the clarification. I've updated the itinerary in this thread...

For anyone interested, was wondering if we can talk at some point for next year. Maybe we can formalize a PA mini-con set for the exclusives. I would gladly volunteer my time to help organize, plan and prepare customs for it.

I figure we got a year so there is loads of time to plan and get it right. I solemnly promise no Shredder debacles. LOL.

Ronin,

See the 3:45 PM slot on the itinerary (quoted below).

That would be the perfect time to discuss your PA mini-con set ideas.

If you want SilverWynter will offer up a 25th female head to demo. Did you want it factory or an unpainted cast? Actually, she'll bring a few of both so, either way your covered.

As for the trading card game, I'd like to see how it plays. Might be something the wee ones would be interested in playing with me.

I have started a seperate thread for the Wants lists.
It is too big of a pain to scroll though 19 pages looking for peoples.
In the new thread everyone should have one post with their wants that they can add to and edit as needed. Hopefully this will help us all in packing.
So please everyone who has wants go to the new thread:
viewtopic.php?f=12&t=16768
and make one post for yourselves with your lists.

Any head would be great...as long as it's got eyeballs! :) Tell SilverWynter she rocks!

Yeah...I'm certain the kiddos would love playign the TCG...it's very easy to learn. You can pick up starter sets at JoeArmory for $2.99 last I looked!

Blitz, thanks for updating my demo info! So glad you've got this so together...well, seem to, anyway! ;)

Yeah I know. I am not posting that much in here. I plan to be there. Hopefully by 11am. I realize it starts sooner then that but I just can't make it earlier then that. I will bring the water and gatorade if you still need it.

Thanks. I saw the itinerary beforehand. I just mentioned the topic now in the hopes that someone might share interest and percolate some additional ideas for discussion during that session.

That sounded better than just bringing it up at the meet and having a bunch of folks say -" we'll get back to you". LOL.

Speaking of needs, do we have a need list set up in terms of food, beverages, cutlery, plates, etc.

Thanks.

You're welcome. The itinerary from last year's picnic that I constructed worked like a charm. Fortunately, the itinerary allowed for some flexibility, but the important thing was that all activities were covered within the time limits.

With a significant number of potential new attendees, this year's itinerary will be put to the test, since I am not 100% convinced that despite a posted itinerary that some of the Tri-State Vipers realize that the picnic is run more like a mini-con than a casual get-together with no format. Once again, it is not that the itinerary isn't flexible, but we want to make sure we cover all of the events planned (especially in consideration for those that put the time, money, and effort to host an event). However, with so many attendees, perhaps it may not be necessary for every single person to be involved in every single event. In previous years, with 10 attendees or less, we made sure to be involved with every event occurring at the picnic/get-together.

We'll see how it goes on Saturday.

Yes, please bring it as per my suggestion on Page 16 of this thread:

Blitzkrieg wrote:
If you could bring gatorade and bottled water as you did at previous picnics, that would be great. Especially since all we have to drink right now is soda.

Please confirm your potluck contribution and I will add it to the list. Thanks!

Although we don't have a Potluck Needs List, below is the current list of attendees and their potluck contributions that I've been maintaining within this thread. If you plan to fill in any gaps, please confirm your contributions in this thread and I will update the master list. Thanks.

In addition, Ripper from the Tri-State Vipers plans to bring the signature Dreadnok snacks of grape soda and chocolate donuts. He and Doc Blessed intend to BBQ out of Ripper's van in the parking lot of the Terrence Riley Building. They are bringing hot dogs and hamburgers. Although I don't have 100% confirmation that they are bringing the other necessities like rolls/buns and condiments. We'll have to find out on Saturday. :-/

We're less than 5 minutes away from stores if we need to pick anything up.

I had just too many projects to complete them all. I had to focus on one suprise and still fell behind. Here is how I deal with production shortfalls.
