Heres my Dick Tracy custom I finally finished. Did I mention I hate painting yellow? I always loved Tracy as a kid. I had the walkie talkie watch. I used to read the comic strips and watch the old cartoon. Loved the movie with Warren Beatty when it came out. The NES video game was awesome. Dick Tracy and The Rocketeer were favorites of mine. So I finally decided to make a Tracy custom. I really like the way it turned out. Let me know what ya think guys.

That really works. The shade of yellow you have used for the coat and hat are perfect, and the parts choice is spo on.
The only thing I would suggest is that you swap out the MP40 for one of Marauder's Thompson .45 with drum mag, and swap the revolver for a 1911A1

Great work.

this is spot on. Great parts choices, nice paint apps with a difficult color too. One of my favs of yours.

I like him a lot. I think that was a perfect head choice. A great translation from the comics. I do agree about the weapons though. a 1911 and a tommy gun would suit him better.

Awesome choice and pefect execution. This is probably some of your best work. The head works really well for this custom!! Start work on the supporting cast of bad guys now lol!

I have to say since I'm pretty happy with this fig I may somewhere down the line do one of the villains like Flat top or pruneface. Thanks again for the feedback guys again I'm really pleased with the look on this one so I'm glad you guys liked it too.

Chester Gould would be proud. The only thing I would do differently is to fill in the stripes on the jacket collar with some putty for a smooth finish. Heres hoping to see Flat-top and Prune-face from you in the future.

I have to say it. I'm not crazy about the head choice... although I can't think of one that would work. It's really hard to translate that square jaw and beak into figure form.

I love the work on the wingtip shoes.

Yellow really is a pain to paint but you did a great job.
