I was going over my collection and saw that I am missing a medic of sorts. I have Doc, but he hangs back at the base, being the chief medical officer, not a guy who you'd find in the field.

Never cared much for Lifeline. Stretcher and some of the others...meh.

I decided to make my own, but I'd like to make him a Navy Corpsman. A Corpsman save my butt one time, and as an homage to him, I'd like to make a figure. Any ideas on what body parts to use? What says "medic" to you?
He'll be what we Marines called a "Green Side" Corpsman, meaning that he's a Corpsman that serves with a Marine unit (as opposed to a "blue side" who serves with Navy units), so he'll need a tactical uniform more than the blue dungerees of Shipwreck.

I'll use the best parts of anything you all suggest, just nothing from a 25th body.

No recipe yet, but I'm leaning towards something with a lot of pouches or space to glue on pouches.

Wasn't a Navy Corpsman dressed in the same Marine combat uniform with a red cross on the helmet?

They had the red cross on the helmet maybe up to Viet Nam or Korea. The red cross on the helmet made for a nice target, so it was done away with. I served back in the 90's and the way to distinguish a Corpsman from a Marine was simply the kadusus (the two snakes fighting symbol that I feel is actually more appropriate for lawyers) on one collar and the navy rank insignia on the other.

Since the Marines moved to the MARPAT digi-camo, I'm not sure if the corpsmen still wear the regular woodland or if they're now authorised to wear the MARPAT.

The reason a Corpsman couldn't wear the MARPAT camo is that within the camo pattern, every 24" vertiacally and 18" horozontally there is a small Eagle, Globe and Anchor insignia. Marine tradition is that no one who has not earned the title of "Marine" cannot wear the Eagle, Globe and Anchor on their uniform. They may be wearing the commercial style of MARPAT. It wouldn't do to have your medics wearing a uniform that was different, identifing them as medics.
