ok so we where talking about this on another board SW: Clone Wars isn't that much less violent then Resolute. it is on during the day. Clone Troopers die on a regular basis. But none of the "named" Clones died so maybe as far as the "tv censors" that is just enough to pass it. so Resolute can be on there station they just cant kill off named charters.

do you guys want this to happen?please vote and explain why you voted the way you did.

Actually, there were some named clones that died. Regardless, I think the thing that made that ok was their non-human look. They practically looked like robots with their armor on.

I voted "No."

I don't want "Resolute" to become the future of JOE animation. At all.

If they could do something that's as "fun" as the current "Clone Wars," I'd be all for that. But I don't want to see anything like "Resolute."

I voted no, and that I was good with the Res movie. While I enjoyed Resolute, I can't see a sustained series of it. If they tweaked some things like the rushed story telling, then maybe.

Also, as much as I like the character designs of Resolute, I've had enough of knee and elbowpad customs, and this would only inspire more.

I voted no as well. Resolute had a strong start but quickly started showing its flaws. A lot of death for death's sake, plenty of character de-evolution, too many cartoon carry-overs.... It wasn't mature, it was just packed with death

I'd rather they go in with a fresh perspective. Maybe bring in Marty Isenberg as story editor and Larry Hama as a consultant of sorts.

Voted no. The series started off with potential, but then seemed to fall into the category of just being another rehash of the Joe mythos. Would be interested if they did something like the CW cartoons - keep the same background storyline, but then went off to explore subplots. I'm not interested in another retelling of the whole SE/SS story, the Duke/Scarlett love affair, and the Cobra Commander/Trix Rabbit concept ("I have the perfect plan" - "Oops, still no Trix for me").

your right well you have to rember that they put all they could in resolute as a movie. i think that it would be alot better if they could take there time with it. thats what i mean. make it in to a series. and expand on alot of the charters. also have a long story not just a 1hr long movie.

What characters?
All the Cobra hierarchy except Destro, Baroness and possibly Cobra Commander are worm food!

ok they are alive so is zartan. you also have the twins, noks, mindbender, scrap iron, serpentor & a whole bunch more to use. you need to think out side the box man. aand look at how many Characters they have to use.

I am, that's why I said no to something that's just "the cartoon with more deaths" and said "do something new, with a truly competent story editor in charge and Larry Hama on board as a consultant". ;-)

I liked Resolute, but too many characters were offed. I'd like to see something in similar style (in other words, nothing like Spytroops and some of the more recent animated Joe outings), but I'd like to see something a little less graphic so that it would appeal to kids.

I find it hard to see how "fresh approach adn thinking outside the box" goes hand in hand with "bring back Larry Hama again!"

I said consultant, not Guy In Charge Of Everyfrikinthing.

You know what else he was a consultant on? Rise Of Cobra. And that's more "fresh approach and thinking outside the box" than Resolute was.

And even so... Larry Hama defines "outside the box". Silent Interlude was groundbreaking and even a number of years ago Marvel would do "Nuff Said" events where every title would do a Silent Issue. His recent comic pack issues have also been quite original, including one tale told entirely through radio transmissions.
And go read the Storm Shadow ongoing series from Devil's Due or the new GIJoe Origins title. These are vastly different from "the way Marvel's GIJoe was during the old days", and still very enjoyable reads.

man the movie is not even a joe movie they are rewriting everything that joe was. it is a bond/action man film. the guy had to go buy everything he could just to make the film. then said he knows what the hard core fans want.

Resolute had a tie in with the old cartoon & comic with a new updated look. thats what we need IMO.
