This isn't for a critique, but just to show that while they may be fugly out of the pack, a little paint can salvage some of the mistakes. I've only touched-up Baroness and Scarlett, as they're the only ones I really had an issue with. They're butt ugly right out the pack like I said, but with a little paint here and there, the actress' likenesses start to come out a little more, although still not perfect:

Baroness:
Image
I went over her whole face with a half/half mixture of Elf Flesh and Dwarf Flesh, slimming and shortening her eyebrows down. Then I put more "lipstick" on her to make her lips fuller.

Scarlett:

I mixed up some paint for her hair and filled in where they missed, so she doesn't have the Faith No More haircut. I purposefully went over the hair line with some brush strokes to make it look more natural. Next, I mixed up some pink and painted her lips. Scarlett also got the 25th comic pack crossbow to replace that pick axe looking thing she had.

i don't care who you are, that Baroness does not look like Sienna Miller...

even though i agree with Perez... Sienna is a slut --

she deserves a better head sculpt -

If any figures need paint, it's the Bravo vehicle drivers.

Man, Hasbro really took the lazy route with these guys.

Hazbro, being Lazy?

NEVER!

I doubt most of thoose vehicles are even in the movie. *re-casting is just lame*

And I agree thoose head sculpts are far from what the actresses look like, and don't do either them or the figure any justice.

After purchasing Paris Pursuit Storm Shadow, I realized he needed some touchups as well.

yeah, Scarlett looks better, but the baroness looks like a mongoloid or a dude in drag. I don't think any amount of paint can save that sculpt.

Those pics are HILARIOUS!

Scarlett: You look like Fred Armisen doing Penny Marshall in drag.
Baroness: Sez you, are you high? Look at those eyes!
Scarlett: Uhhhmmm, yeah, got anything to eat here? I got the munchies. And I need a nap.

I have a theory as to why the female heads look funky. I think that make-up is the issue. Either the women were wearing make up when they modeled the figures after them and it threw sculpters. Or the figures look funky because they don't have make up paited on. If you give the head to a female artist I'm sure they could do a better job than Hasbro did.

Cover Girl also looks a tad man-ish. They didn't paint her upper lip on mine.
