I just found a helmet for my Dragonski figure, but now I don't know what color to paint his neck. He does have an alternate bald head.

I'm definitely not an expert on the character, but I would think that painting his neck the same color as his undersuit (the reddish color) would make sense - he'd want to be protected and flame-retardant from head to toe, right?

Looks awesome, BTW - where'd you get the helmet?

The helmet is a Revenge of the Sith Firefighter.

I left the neck flesh tone because originally he just had the bald head. The only image of Dragonski with a helmet was in a pinup for a GI Joe Yearbook I think.

He's a flamethrower dude wearing purple and red and you're worried about the practicality of covering his neck?

Seriously though, I say leave it flesh tone. If it was sculpted to look like a neck collar or had some scuplted covering then painting it would be right but since its sculpted like a bare neck the flesh looks better.

I'd paint the center "V" area of the neck to match the undersuit, but paint the sides of the neck to match the armor.

how about making neck piece like the comicpack Beachhead that seats under the helmet, like a hood or scarf that is built into the helmet

how about one of the scarfs that comes around the resolute destro's neck? Other wise I would say black, since there is black on the helmet it may flow it together nicely.

SNAKE, I just had the same idea you had after I read Vanishing Point's post about the Beach-Head scarf.

Chaosx, Recipe is:

Head: Serpentor
Torso: Modified Zartan
Arms, Legs: HISS Driver
Helmet: Revenge of the Sith firefighter
Flamer thrower: kit bash of a Durge jetpack, Charbroil hose and flamer, and a War Machine flame

Wow, amazing how a little addition like that can really "make" a custom. Perfect!

Definitely go with the Destro scarf. Not sure what color. If you were just painting the neck, I would have went with pink, but I don't think pink would work. Black actually may look nice.

Black would look good. The scarf helps beef up the helmet too so it doesn't looks so small on that bulked up armored body.

I'm not sure about the scarf to be honest I would think someone in Dragonsky's profession would be pretty careful with a flamethrower. I love the figure though so please don't get me wrong.

nice figure, the scarf looks good but if for any reason you decided not to use it i would paint the neck the same color as the suit.
nice clean work, helmet looks perfect.
