Has anyone found the Target and Wal-Mart exclusives? My 3 Targets are packs tot he gills, but none of their exclusives. And the Wal-Marts only have up the cardboard displayers in my area.

I haven't seen any reports of the exclusives being out yet. I'm thinking they'll show closer to the movie's release, or maybe not even till fall.

I hit a TRU today and they were putting out the single pack exclusive Firefly and Barbeque figures along with the others. So I'd say they are starting to hit now.

Sidenote, the guy stocking actually asked me if I wanted them since he saw I had a handful of figures. He showed me the case he was pulling from and we dug through to see if there were any others in the pack. Nope. Just a full case evenly split between Firefly and BBQ. He said he was only putting out a few at a time to keep the scalpers from buying them all. Probably the coolest guy I've ever talked to at TRU before.

Yeah, but Firefly and Barbecue have been out since the street date.

We don't know the release date for Wal-Mart and Target's exclusives.

Yeah... only downside of the TRU figures i've got so far: no place for firefly's smaller gear to go and bbq's hose isn't a tight fit on his squirt gun.

i'll leave that last sentence as-is lol

anyway, the TRU figures are awesome. i wish i'd thought to ask it as a Hasbro roundtable question.


side note: the armored panther doesn't come with the armadillo headlights, it just has empty slots.

Found a BBQ at TRU last week -- they didn't have ANYthing - just a handful of figs. I was surprised to see the BBQ. They had a Firefly too, but I passed.

Is the Ice Saber w/Frostbite an exclusive? Saw it at Target yesterday.

I made all of Firefly's gear fit except for his flashlight.

Question -- what ARE the exclusives? (Okay, so I haven't been paying a lot of attention). I've seen the Firefly and Barbecue at TRU. Honestly, I'd be more interested in vehicular exclusives.

Target has the small vehicle sets (Air Assault, modified Firebat, Ninja Cycle and a motorcycle w/ sidecar) and Wal-Mart has the 2-packs (Gung-ho, Copperhead, Tunnel Rat, Night Creeper, I forget the others).

Went to TRU and Target today. TRU no ROC at all.
Target had some ROC, but just the endcap. No exclusives at either.

Aside from FF and Barbecue, I haven't seen any of the exclusives yet. Our nearest Walmart doesn't have Roc at all. By the by, you can stick FF's flashlight in the top of his pack horizontally.

Target's online store does have the new exclusive RHINO w/ Heavy Metal up for mail order. I should have mine soon.

I had to work at my t-shirt shop today til 3. I just have too much going. It's nice to have the work, but it's killing me with the hours. Anyway, I went store jumping afterwards...

Toys R Us here still sucks. They had what I'd guess was a case of 12" figures, 3 cases of Night Ravens, 2 cases of the hummer, landing vehicle, probably 4 cases of figures with one being their exclusives, and maybe a case each of a few of the kiddie items. It was just kind of thrown around too with no organization. I did grab the Firefly and Barbeque though. No red helmet/red outfit Firefly in the landing craft thing. Just the black helmet and grey outfit.

At one Target, they did set up the endcaps, but they had it setup odd. They still had the Wolverine endcap and 2 Transformer endcaps. Those 3 endcaps divided the G.I.Joe caps. There was nothing down the aisles, and nothing beyond the first collection (what most sites have as collection 1 with the viraety of 12 figures). The other Target had a lot of items, but the same stuff.

1 Wal-Mart I went to had a center "island" display. That was all. Nothing down the aisle. They didn't have anything that was any different than Target either.

That was all I checked, so over all I haven't seen anything beyond the first collection of 12 figures in store here. I want to check another Wal-Mart that usually has more than any of the other stores, but I don't know when. It's looking like it'll be a lost cause though for a while for me. It's not selling real well yet so they're not getting the next waves like other people are reporting. The guys that's working the stock have told me that. I went out wearing my Cobra Air shirt today, so they knew what I was looking for. They were asking me about the movie and stuff and in turn telling me how the kids are reacting. Mostly they're all in Transformers mode still and passing G.I.Joe by. They did say there's interest and a few kids are asking for stuff, but it's not any different in selling than the 25th Anniversary stuff.
