so far i've gotten an ice viper, and it was more for a "eff it, he has rey mysterio's pants on!" thought than anything else. and it's a cool figure.

but yes the vipers look too...alien/unrealistic for me. yeah, i get that they're trying to be "monstrous" in some aspect...but the bug helmets then the ridged armor plating just...it looks stupid. so far i haven't gotten any of them. i've mostly gotten the main joes that i like & the stormshadow-baroness-destro and cobra commander for WTF appeal.

I've got to agree with what seems the majority opinion. The Cobra figures just don't interest me. The only new figure I'm considering is the Ice Viper. Plus the repaints on the paraviper and Eel (the Target exclusive that comes with a vehicle).

On the Joe side, however I like all of the blue/grey camo guys (although they'll be some new team in my Joeverse). I'll probably troop build Zartan (as generic MPs) and the Pit Commando, and maybe Desert Duke. So definitely I'm more into the Joes, which is odd because in 25th I was troop building the Cobras and didn't even buy the Greenshirt pack on the Joe side.

Like other have said, the Cobras troops look like aliens or animals... probably to minimize the impression for the kiddies that the Joes are killing people. I like to see the crazed look in the eyes of the Cobras, and most of these just don't have eyes.
