Can't tell from the pics, but it doesn't look like they've changed the tooling on the PBB

Doesn't look like it has the missiles, though.
Not even the back of the packaging makes mention of them.

Could be that they just took the 2002 Rockslide and restored the old engine cover, and omitted the missiles...

I'd buy this.

And I'd buy others like this provided both of the vehicles were good ones. Problem is, a lot of the smaller "present" vehicles are things like the Road Rebel, Neutralizer, and the Tigerhawk, none of which are very good.

That's not to say there haven't been some decent vehicles in the past five years, but for the most part, it's really not stuff I want to see (warming the pegs) again.

I'd also love a Buzz Boar/Mole Pod pack. I can easily see them doing a pack with the original Silver Mirage as well as the new motorcycle/sidecar that's coming out. But unless they start doing these with larger vehicles, I don't see anywhere for the line to go, since most of the ROC alpha vehicles are repaints and remolds.

What size class is the SHARC? Could it be put in a pack with the upcoming Polar Shark Sub?

That's the only way they can get me to buy a Mole Pod. But who'd be a match for the Terra-Viper?

And it looks like both the ROC Rockslide and the ROC Snow Job are different from the regular retail release. The Rockslide is whiter compared to the pale blue of the regular one, and Snow Job features grey where his regular toy features green.
Both figures look like they'll sport their respective ski gear, and sadly it looks like the Polar Battle Bear will lack its missiles.

maybe a vintage croc master repaint? lol

and hopefully the battle bear has missiles hidden behind packaging... this is going to get me to not buy the current little snow vehicle out right now though.

This is what I'm hoping as well, but they're neither seen nor mentionned on the back of the packagine..... :-/

I wish the packs didnt seem ROC only. I silver Mirage two pack with Duke v1 and a 25tha Duke v1 with fixed wrists and proper accesories would rock.

I'd love a "perfect" Duke V1!

If they make such a pack, I demand not only the "fixed" things on 25th Duke, but also the proper arms and waist on ARAH Duke, with the Comic Pack head on top!

This is an awesome idea and I'm impressed Hasbro thought of it. I was contemplating picking up the Rockslide, because it looks silly but sorta cool now that we've finally seen better pictures online from fellow collectors. It doesn't look as awful as that first leaked picture indicated. Now I'll wait for this set, so it better not get canceled.

Also, no need to release a Duke in a v1 scheme with fixed arms to make a "perfect" Duke. They already did that...the Resolute one.

Really? I've never seen Snow Job peg warmers. In fact he was hard to find around here.
And if thats only $19.99 that's a steal ! seeing as how the ROC version is $16 at Walmart as of Saturday... but $20 for a Polar Battle bear and the ARAH fig !!! Woo-hoo !!

I think they're talking about that Big Ben/"White Out" (repainted Snow Job) two pack from a few years back that clotted pegs in some areas.

Mole Pod/ Buzz Boar might be the only one of these I'm interested in getting....I've got plenty of Snow Job/White out/ "whatever you want to call him winteryish"

I'm sick of Hasbro making reproductions of everything we've had for the past 25 years. Especially because they're reproducing common and easily gotten things....And I DON'T want to see them do things like the Dreadnok Ground Assult because if thoses sets aren't Rare and hard to find...they're really not much cooler than the Thunder Machine, Swamp Fire, or Hydrosled.

Buzz Boar box art shows a Viper...it'd be quite easy to stick a Viper in the Mole Pod...

I really like this, mainly because there's finally some ARAH for 2009. The convention set has gone anniversary construction, everything is that way now.

And that Snow Job already has some notable paint differences to keep it identifiable, so hey, this is cool.
