Well as all are MU based Captain America`s thought it best to show the comparison.
My ONLY pet hate with the MU Cap was his height.

The gideon`s are for another project i`ll be showing (when finished).Till then wanted to show them off & also my 2 modern US Army Aviators. Both wearing current ACUs.
The flags btw are both printed adhesieve cloth attached to poles & carefully connected. Print & stick is the way to go.

My arctic troops (2 at the moment :( ).

Skier

Skidoo rider

Sit`s very nicely on the Polaris 1/18th skidoo. I did have to alter the handlebars tho.

Paired up
Image

Both are 25th SnowJobs, tho removed the chest pouches & jacket skirts.
Skier has Torpedo`s mask (perfect cold weather mask) & Snowjob hood.
Skidoo rider has on a Motorcross helmet. Both armed with GREY MarauderJohn g36s.

The reason for the removed molded pouches, well it`s simple.I want to give them removable vests (tho not sure which yet).
If DrBindy your looking at this Would love to know how you did that snowy effect on your arctic warrior,it`s awesome.

The vest first
Fed up with the way you have to pivot & pull off the vests on some of these figures.
Simple solution right here.
Duke Resolute vest got the first treatment.

As you can see (i hope) I`ve added a 2nd prong on the other side. Also made an underlip (with hole) for the prong to go through. Think Intoyz SWAT vest if that helps.

All you have to do,is cut the one piece side so then opens fully. Then add the prong ala the side already having one. Then with a piece of plastic (i actually used an old Intoyz swat vests lip) glue to the inside of the vest with an overhang. Then line up & add hole appropriate to the prong,so they mate when on the figure.

Seems comlicated but it`s very quick n easy.

Also added to my vest an Intoyz SWAT radio pouch & radio.

Still unsure of a direction with him,tho thought I`d share what I have at the moment.

HEAD: Chap Mei (trimmed the original crew cut back a little)
TORSO: 25th Viper (build up the neck)
ARMS: Cobra Trooper Resolute
WAIST & LEGS: Build n Brawl.

I had a paint that was exact to the color used on the resolute cobra trooper,so opted to paint a torso same. This all came together nicely.

So any ideas on a direction for this operator?

Sounds like it would be nice to see.......

But traditionaly board members attach or embed pictures of their customs in these threads instead of a description.

A picture is worth a thousand words..........

I sees em, and I likes em. Good work, especially on the unis, but overall really nice.

I almost used the Res. Duke head for my Cap also, but found something I like better for both masked and unmasked. Nice mods and good work sculpting the old school version's mask

Please combine multiple customs on the same day into one post. We try not to clog up the critiques section so other people's work can be seen too.
