Some awesome goodness that no one seems to be talking about

http://www.rebelscum.com/sdcc09/hasbro-sw/

I need me like a MILLION of that Slave Leia because of her awesome fleshtone female arms.... And hopefully her knees too. And it looks like FINALLY a SA Jedi Knight Luke. AND Darth Vader funeral pyre.... And a SA EpI Obi Wan.

No sign of Mecha Darth Maul though...

Good good stuff here. Some junk too, but a lot of great stuff.

I was really afraid that Hasbro was going to throw all of their development dollars at the Animated CloneWars line, but they really came through with some neat basic figures.

I'm thrill to get two new Cantina Aliens and to get 3 people from Jabba's palace. Bravo for the laying Leia!

The new Commander Cody looks great.

I've been waiting for a SA Zuchas for a while. Nice to finally see he's coming.

I also was impressed with the Hoth Snowspeeder Luke

Eh, I just can't get too excited about the Star Wars line. 90% seems like a boring rehash over and over. "Captain Cody With New Hat!" just doesn't cut it for me anymore.

The comic packs rock though, lots of cool new expanded universe figs there. And I look forward to the concept figs as always.

But what surprises me most is that there are 2 count em 2 build a droids I want! Usually I HATE the build a droids, but L8-L9 and YVH1 (Can you say Skeletron?) are must haves for me.

Some of those comic packs look absolutely incredible, but I rarely buy them. The price kills me. I also don't know who the characters are. I never read the comics. They just look cool. And I feel like the guy who roots for a team because he likes their logo when I buy stuff for reasons like that and that makes me feely dirty.

Also, that L8-L9 build a droid is just about the coolest little robot I've ever seen that isn't a 25th BAT. Sadly, most of the figures that come with those pieces are the same boring figures that peg warm no matter what. Some look cool, though...like the Nikto Gunner--whatever that is. I also still need a Commander Cody, so I'd pick that up if I saw. That was the ONLY Legacy figure I wanted that I never got. This one looks better, anyway.

And best yet, Plo Koon's vagtastic mouth: http://www.rebelscum.com/sdcc09/hasbro-sw/image64.asp

No wonder he keeps that covered up. That's so blade 2.

And yes, that is a needed update to the Jedi Luke figure who always had the bad knee joints, both the one with the unbuttoned grey corner showing and the one where he's lighting his dad up...wait, is that a set coming out or what? i didn't see a picture with that info card under it :(

What i'm wondering though is who this is: http://www.rebelscum.com/sdcc09/hasbro-sw/image59.asp

best shot of his figure's nametag is obscure at best :( (or possibly Remoch Colton (no clue who that is)

and yes, the ice cream maker guy getting remade is awesome. also update for the rancor keeper (eh, sentimental value purchase since i had him as a kid and somehow never lost his accessories growing up).

Jeremoch Colton:
Jeremoch Colton was the pilot of the Tantive IV during the Clone Wars, and had a long record of service in the Royal House of Alderaan. He wore the same uniform as the rest of the Tantive IV crew, and he had blond hair and blue eyes. He is not to be confused with Captain Raymus Antilles, who had overall command of Tantive IV and considered Colton to be his mentor.

Played by Jeremy Bulloch ( Boba Fett) in Ep3.

Man I LOVE that Dewback, but at $30 and being a Wal-Mart exclusive, makes me love it a bit less...

Yeha When first saw her, I was wondering if I needed to buy a third version of her even if the sculpt and articulation was improved. Then I saw the swappable lower legs and knew it to be true.

There are a ton of rehashes and stuff I'm just not interested in but those two are just awesome. Oh, and, um yes., I can say Skeletron.

It seems that a lot of the assorted waves' highlights are the build a droid figures.

And as for that thing pluv has pictured, I was thinking it was more the T-800 from the Terminator franchise.

I was thinking Superman pre-JLA/JLU metallo myself.

Still, looking forward to a few things, and had to keep correcting fiancee on spelling. For some reason she wanted to drop the r from Willrow Hood.

LOL. That name alone makes him worth getting. Especially if they make one with some sort of MTV name.

And bonus points if they make an ESPN named droid. lol
