Ya, I'm going to have some explaining to do to my wife. :-( Here she thought I was not going to be spending much on toys since the new Joes don't do much for me. But I love how these are looking.

Who is in the middle of this picture?

That last pic is for Marvel Legends, though.

Dammit, why couldn't this years figures look as good as next? Luke Cage and modern Thor are great, and as much as I don't want to start over with a new Marvel toyline, they've really improved over the lackluster first few waves.

Galactus! (pictures continue for the next three or so shots)

I like that mold a lot better than the ML one. Apparently he's 19" tall and has lights and sounds.

Not bad at all. However, he is still too short. Considering that the ML Giant Man would be roughly the same size, it just doesn't work, IMO.

Yes...but...to be in scale, wouldn't Galactus have to be, you know, the size of an average house?

Nah. He'd have to be huge, sure. But they make those Batman toys at like 2 and a half or three feet tall. I'd buy one at that scale.

All I'm saying is that Giant Man shouldn't be able to look Galactus in the eye.

Luke Cage and modern Thor look amazing. I don't even read the new Thor, but I do love that design.

Galactus is awesome as well. Yeah, it's still not in the correct scale, but I probably don't have room for a 19" figure, let alone the three feet tall one if it were in scale. I also wouldn't have the $$ to spend on that size figure with Marvel Universe articulation. It'd be $100.

With Hasbro's pricing lately, I wouldn't be surprised if this one is $100.

And actually, if you go by his initial appearance in the Secret Wars series, the 16" -19" figures are pretty close to the size he was. He's one of those guys who can be 30'-40' tall one moment and 1,000' tall the next.
