Anyone know if either of those Destros will be released carded? It would be a terrible shame not to see the suit body again.

My sentiments exactly.

I'd been debating plopping down $70 on the Invaders set, so this pricing seemed like a bargain.

Now I can go ahead and customize the suited Destro I had and will keep the new one all pinstriped and pimped out.

It really is a good year to be a 3.75 collector.

Got the Destro set, which is all I really wanted. The discount code wouldn't work for me, though, for some reason. Oh well, I'm just glad I got it.

Never really expected to own that Destro set, but now I've got two on the way! Went ahead and picked up a couple of Hall of Heroes figs I'd been waffling on too. Thanks for the heads up!

Wow. Still 3117 left if the cart system can be believed. I'm kind of surprised. I didn't expect it to fly as fast as the past couple of years, but I figured it would sell out within a day. That is, unless their system is borked (quite possible) or they way over-manufactured.

You keep adding to your quantity for an order until you reach a limit they can't meet. It isn't exact by any means but it has been fairly close in the past. When something said a 100 left, it did end up selling out within the day or so.

I don't know if I'd go with "over produced" but I'd say they produced more than previous years. It makes sense since this is a movie tie in exclusive and they have sold out in previous years. Remember they also have some set aside for Master Collector. The only people this is bad for are people who bought extra at the show who planned on selling them for tons of money when they got home.

I'm glad to see Hasbro finally stick it to the scalpers too. That's all I ever ask for when they do these exclusives is a chance to get it. The companies know good and well that we all can't go to the conventions. I don't even mind if it were changed up a little, so long as the produce is the same. New package, a sticker, whatever added for the con it's self would be more than fine.

While I wouldn't necessarily fault someone who went to the con for making a profit off something you could only get there, I am glad things turned out this way.

I had actually put in a best offer on an Invaders set on eBay for less than the guy was asking but a little more than I figured was actually fair when I saw the set available on HTS. I snapped up the set (at about $20 less than the best offer I had pending), figuring I'd probably get stuck with the eBay set too. But the seller didn't accept my offer. Good for me, not so good for him if HTS doesn't sell out soon.

well the ebay seller can still get the international crowd. but i'm glad Hasbro maybe overproduced the set and/or "OMFG TEH ECHONOMIEZ STRIKEZ BAK @ KamiKahnz!!"
bad things happen in the afternoon when i start listening to Starship...them and their cities built on rock and roll. not to be confused with Bench Press!

Seriously though, I'm surprised that this set is still in stock. I went to check it today just for the heck of it to see if it was still there and couldn't believe it was still in stock.
