for anyone who has both of them are there uniforms the same color of blue. i have zartan and when they get here in the mail will have some pit commandos..thnks in advance... glenn

sweet thnks for the replies and the pics it helps. i have seen the pit commando in pictures and dont care for the blueish uniforms, course in the pic it does look greyer. i was thinking of rit dye. maybe a light green.and hope it comes out greenish. and thought if zartan had the same uniform i could test on him. heck i may still do it i dont like the blue on zartan either. i mean who wears blue BDUs. and that retorical question, im sure someone will post a pic of some out of the way countries blue uniforms, or maybe the navy . again thnks. glenn

The Air Forces ACU's are Blue.

Actually, the new AF uniforms are the same colors as the Army ACUs, just with a tiger stripe pattern instead of the digi-camo.

The Navy's new digi-camo uniforms, however, are a nice dark blue -- and although impractical (nobody will see you if you fall overboard at night), they look pretty sweet. A bunch of guys I work with wear them, and I really dig the look.

yeah i live on an army base in germany. i want to try and get that sageish look they have...it would have been nice if the joe stuff would have looked more like army stuff.. but owell.. maybe there jungle stuff will be pretty kool. the ripcord pic i saw looks nice. if they do more then just him in that enviroment look..

Which base? Are you active duty?

I used to go to Germany several times a year, but the new job doesn't involve any travel.

Cool - I've stayed in Vilseck on more than a few occasions (while supporting exercises in Grafenwoehr.)

Never been stationed in Germany, but I've been TDY there dozens of times over the past 19 years

hmm the ones they demoed for us in ALS where a light blue tiger stripe, with little AF logos all over it. They were fairly ridiculous and not very functional, glad they didn't get used.

i think they did have a blue set they were thinking of using. but it didnt get approved, cause it was lame im guessig. but still im not diggin the blue . i will wait to see the pit commando in hand but i think im going to dye the zartan i got two of them so. we will see.

Yeah, they were demo-ing those back at my last assignment (yet another AF base for the Army guy ) -- definitely lame - and those who were participating in the demo were teased incessantly
