Cobra Intruder: Conquest X-30 Custom

Simple repaint. I styled it after the Strato-Viper, STUN and FANG coloration. Always thought they looked sharp. Used Ratter, Conquest, Skystriker and Firebat decals from Ruben Jiminez. I especially like how the HUD from the FIREBAT set looks on the inside of the canopy. Had a lot of fun with this one.

I'm a sucker for vehicle customs and this is a winner all the way. Very sleak and mean looking fighter jet. And you're right, the Firebat HUD looks awesome on the Conquest canopy. It works very well. I like this a lot.

Too late now, but the only thing I would change is the paint. The nose should be painted black because of glare from the sun.

I'm really digging it, though. In the back of my mind, I always thought it would be nice to see the X-30 as a Cobra jet, but without pythonizing.

Just noticed the ordnance crates. I love those, where did you get them?

I might add a little bit of detail to the guns, too.

Simple, yet so effective. The color combination works so well. Would of been worlds better than a Python Patrol Conquest.

That is incredible. Good choice on the flat paints - the paint job looks sharp. And I love how you tied it in with the Raven and FANG.

I like the paint job, simple but very effective. Reminds me of the Night Adder, minus all the goofiness.

I usually am totally against switching Joe vehicles to cobra, but this is one of the few that it can be done to without explanation. That being said I love everything about this and it's my FAVORITE paint job ever for the conquest!

If this is what we had gotten from Hasbro last year, I would have taken it out of the package.
