  • This section is for honest critique of the work shown here. Members are encouraged to give and accept non-confrontational constructive criticism as well as adoring praise and everything in between.
  • In order to show case everyone's work equally, please post multiple customs on the same day into a single thread. If you have a lot of pictures of your work you may have to add them to a separate post within that thread.
  • Please do not link to a sale thread or to eBay from your critique thread. This section isn't to be used to market your finished work. The Market Place section is better suited for that purpose.

 Post subject: Simple ROC Steel Brigade

Just a straight out repaint, of the Pit Commando. Not even a complete repaint, at that. I did add a working holster for a Marauder .45, but those don't take long. There's still a few tweaks to make to this, which is why I didn't bother hauling out my regular photography rig.

very cool GR. I love how you show him to be inspired by the original color scheme but in the ROC camo stylings. On any random figure, I'd not like the mixed camo colors, but for this, it's brilliant.

I agree. The camo should be off putting but my nostalgia factor is kicking in and making me like it a lot anyway. Just tough up the thigh screw holes with the tan and he'll be perfect.

Thanks guys. I agree, it is a bizarre combination of camos. But, it's Steel Brigade. Steel Brigade makes everything cool. :-)

The screw holes are one of the small handful of things I still need to do on him. I haven't done anything for the rub points yet, and there's a few places on his legs where the pain is still too thin.
