ok, so ive been toying around with this guy for a while now & thought i'd see if i could get some opinions!
was going to make him a night creeper, but now there is a 25th night creeper im not so sure (i was thinking more along the lines of the later ones)
so far all ive done is put the parts together & dyed the whole figure black, still need to start pinting him & find a belt, but i just wanted to see what people thought of the idea. thinking about swapping his upper legs for dr. rex.

you can see his legs here:

what i need to figure out is how he can carry his equipment, he needs a belt & a pack, with attachments to hold a sword, 2 short swords, 2 compact MP5's & a snipers rifle.

MORE PICS @ THE BOTTOM

the reason i posted this was to get some ideas for finishing him...... belts, backpack etc.......
come on people, you must have some ideas!
already pretty much figured out everything else, once ive get the this figured out i will paint him, he being kitted out with sword + short swords from storm shadow, snipers rifle from blackout, 2 x MP5k's & holster & pistol.
might add another pistol, not sure yet & i plan on giving him 2 knives. also thinking about fitting night vision to the helmet.

I like the body parts you choose for him. They work well together for a ninja looking character. You can make your own backpack, belts, scabbards and slings. Make a couple of scabbards for the swords, a couple of sheathes for the knives, and sling up the guns. Alternatively, pick up the Wave 6 Storm Shadow/Firefly comic pack. You'll get a backpack to hold the swords, a belt, and some goggles that will fit better than the helmet. The helmet looks kind of odd on that head, maybe because the chin sticks out so much.

You could also take the webgear from Snake-Eyes and cut off the straps for a belt with a holster. Then you can put the knives on the thighs.

Here's a collection of ninja by other customizers to give you some inspiration.

damn it, looking @ your link i see someone has already made a ninja with this body!
that pack looks ok, but i was thinking about something a bit more military looking, i like the idea of him having both ninja & military influences.
i know what you mean about the helmet, i might try to hollow it out a bit more so it sits a bit lower on his head i just like the idea him having this helmet. ive seen the ROC duke desert ambush helmet & i plan on using the night vision from that, does anybody know if it flips up or is rigid?
i might use this guys pack: http://www.yojoe.com/action/08/snakeeyes34.shtml & attach the snipers rifle to it.

the night vision on the desert ROC Duke does indeed flip.

I like the helmet here though, especially if you can get it to fit just a touch better.

Is he going to remain mostly black when painted I assume?

For scabbards I almost always make my own now like Daremo's tutorial.

For a belt, no great idea other than if you have a pretty plain one you can add as many pouches or bits to it as you like. I do this most of the time now too so that no one belt looks like another.

Looking forward to seeing him finished up. I forget, do you prime and use enamyls with the 25th figs too, or just the harder plastic figs? I'm always fascinated by how well you use those paints.

i tend to use ritdye for everything now, then just use paint for detail. doesnt matter how good your paint skills are, if the figure isnt just gonna sit on a shelf there will be paint rub & as most of my customs are for dio's dyeing saves me a lot of grief! my reapers ive been working on are black, so i can pretty much use body parts from anyone!
this is the 1st time ive tried dyeing a 25th figure, went well but the chest joint is now a bit loose.
i have a slightly different dyeing method than the other tutorials ive seen, so may post one @ some point.

i thought dyeing would solve the problem of how to paint rubber items like coats etc, but the color fades out of rubber.

checked out the link for custom scabbards & straps & i know how im gonna kit him out now!

he does need a name......

I like this one a lot.

I'm getting an 'elite' Night Creeper-ish vibe from him. Not so much a NCL, but just a real troubleshooter kinda guy.

Kinda looks like a better take on BLACK DRAGON from Extreme....

What about a cloth case on a sling for the sniper rifle or a black wrap for it you could attach that better to a backpack

Someone mentioned the black dragons, which was one of my original ideas so i thought i start about making a clan! only 3 so far..... but more to come.

So heres the leader..... decided to change the head but stick with the helmet. still not 100%, need to repaint the handles on his weapons & improve the detail on his face, make him more disfigured.

This guy is kind of a cyborg, his left arm is robotic & he has breathing apperatus. he has 2 different left arms, one regular BAT arm & one big claw.

& heres a chick ninja, thought about not giving her a mask, but in the end decided to keep her faceless.

I like the Rex head on your main fig from this post - has a Ninja Master look to him, like he's seen it all. The cyborg is cool too. I could see some really funky unmasked heads for him if you wanted to try butchering some up for effect. Kind of in a Vader way maybe?

For the chick, I don't mind the head, but I think you should try to detail the visible parts or her face a bit more, to make it more feminine at first glance. If you have any older VvV masked heads, which are in some instances a touch smaller, those might work as well. But I think if you just softened up the eyes a bit, it would work better.
