I don't think I have seen anyone make a 25th anny styled 1991 Low-Light, so when I was commissioned for a Low-Light, I knew which version I had to do. The gray shirt was made using Apoxie and a clay tool from my ceramics class. It's like a dentist pick, but it has a small ball on the tip. I just made rows of indentations on the clay, worked perfectly. The head is a Zap figure modified with a sculpted on close trimmed beard. Body is Snake-eyes, arms are Cutter's upper, with Shipwreck lower and ROC Breaker hands. The legs are ROC Storm Shadow, with straps from Matt Trakker and holsters from Shockblast. The helmet is from Flash with a sculpted on visor. The backpack and knife came form a ROC TRU Firefly.

Oh, damn.

I was expecting the typical '86 format, should have known an iwbeta project would give me a very pleasant surprise. As quite possibly the only Joe fan who prefers this version of Low Light to the original, you nailed it man. Awesome.

Justin

SHWEET!!! This was always my favorite version of lowlight, not only that but you have done an amazing job. The shirt is fantastic(I have one of those tools and they are super handy) and the colors are spot on. I even like the beard, since I feared it would make him slightly too big brawler like lol.

Nice job! The sculpting looks excellent. I was glad you said the shirt was sculpted because at first I wondered what figure that might have come from. ;)

Totally unexpected. I didn't care for this mold until thye recolored it in swat colors. Something about the grey, sea green, brown, and black didn't work for me. I'm glad you darkened the green. I think that helps a lot. Pretty cool translation and kudos for staying faithful to the sweater design.
