I LOVE that background! I never noticed it before, is it new or am I just unobservant?

Ripcord: PERFECT! I love the look on the face. Intense but kind of sad at the same time (He misses his furry girlfriend ;) ).

Snake-Eyes: I wish Hasbro would do an unmasked SE just like this. Very nice.

Scarlett: Personally I would round off the new leg holes a bit more. Overall though, it works nicely.

Bludd: More perfection. Assuming they could do the chestpiece as part of the webgear, this would be an easy one for Hasbro to tackle.

Cobra Commander: Looks great, but I have decided that I like the 25th head better. I know I'm the minority, but I just think the V1 head is too big.

Flash: Still love this one. He's spot on.

Spirit: Still can't believe that's a Salvo head, but it works. Love the vest.

Hawk: Niiiiice. Good choice on the head.

And looking at your group pic makes me want to cry. I STILL can't find any extras, and you've got so many customs already. I'm jealous man, even though mine wouldn't be as good as yours anyway :)

Actually, that's just the flipside of the background I've been using for a while (the presentation folder from when I got my last medal) -- the thing absorbes the camera flash better than a flat surface. But yeah, the DoD seal looks pretty sweet - I'll have to start putting my single Joes on blocks so the seal is visible when I crop the pics.

Yeah, I've been pretty lucky - 5 Joe 5-packs, 3 Cobra 5-packs and a crapload of single packs found in various states. Even with all that, I NEVER emptied a shelf or took the last of anything, so I feel pretty good about that. What sucks is, the SEs were warming the pegs every time I went looking, now when I need more of them, they're hard to find :-/

Thanks for the compliments VL - you're making me blush! :embarassed:

The group shot is amazing. Crazy how many you you've made in two months.

Great job Chief. I like the Spirit, the Hawk looks good, heck they all look good - but honestly I think the crown jewel is the Rip Cord - you captured the character VERY well (I liked that story-arc as well by the way, it showed a non-ninja Joe going ape-____ on some Cobra).

Thanks Wolfman!

When I first built this RipCord, I was actually kind of 'meh' about his overall look. But after everybody's generous comments, he's grown on me and I really dig him now. I even dug through my comic collection and read the Cobra Island story arc a couple of hours ago. Now he's fast becomming one of my favorite customs.

Thanks again for all the kind words, guys!

Someone's been busy.

;)

These are all great, man, but that Bludd brings a tear to my eye.

Wish I'd thought of it and that I could find an officer within a fifty mile radius to try and dupe it.

Put simply, it rocketh my house and my world.
