I can't believe it happened again...Mysterious Stranger snaked me again on a custom in critiques. I guess if great minds think alike, then I'm in good company (though if you were to ask my wife, she'd challenge my mind being great). I went with a little different approach for RFF. It's my first time using Modge Podge as a sealant, thanks to to tips from drbindy. I hope you enjoy him as much as enjoyed making him.

I really like the direction you went. I've been on the fence about doing a Firefly, and I may just have to make one now. I really thought the vest would be too big, it looks nice. Where is the strap from?

wow that looks awesome. Great paint job and great parts choices. What's your initial impression on using the mod podge?

I saw the first pic wihtout the vest and was like, "Oh, that's kind of interesting." Then I saw the rest with the vest and was like, "Now that is what I'm talking about."

Thanks for the comments, guys. I thought MS's custom turned out really good too. The strap is from the first 5-pk SE explosives pack. I liked using the Modge Podge, though I think I may have watered it down too much.

I was this weird cell-phone, Chap Mei I think. My kids enjoy playing with various figures and usually give me their parts they don't need. I just heated it, bent it and then glued it. It doesn't look exactly like the one in the prototype photos, but close enough for me.

I used the same vest for mine but sanded it down smooth. I wish I hadn't now. Looks good.

Thanks, I'm really happy with how he turned out. I'm now considering a Zartan if the parts flow right.

My 5-yr-old finished his custom he has been working on for a while. I tried to get him to call him Jungle-Ops or Jungle-Strike Duke, and he said "Nope, just Duke." He took the pics as well.
