Since I missed the last GP's deadline, I figured I'd show my figures in this section. I've had these done for a while now, but was waiting for the New Enemies GP to go live to avoid stealing anyone's thunder.

Some of the ideas here closely mirror Mysterious Stranger's terrific entry in the GP. I can assure everyone that it is completely by coincidence. MS and I have never spoken of the project and we are not the same person :shifty:

I drew my inspiration from 1920's mobsters. I thought what would happen if a modern day Al Capone rose to power?

Anyway, here is my humble entry for the New Enemies Group Project.

The Corporation

Story:
The Corporation is a Multi-trillion dollar shadow organisation. It does not appear on any of the books, but owns and controls thousands of multi-national companies globally. It is responsible for wide-range of products and services, from baby food to law firms to heavy weapons manufacturing and everything in between. It has virtually limitless human and financial resources. Through it’s leader, The Chairman, it controls thousands of politicians and law-makers on all continents.

Characters:

The Chairman:
File Name: Harrison Cabot III
Speciality: CEO and head of The Corporation

The Chairman took over his father’s auto parts manufacturing and distribution business after the elder Cabot died in an “accident”. He then expanded that business into various sectors from food processing to weapons to law firms. Now, he controls hundred of companies, all over the world.

He is ruthless. He believes that real power does not come from being elected but rather from having people depend on you. The more businesses and companies he owns, the more people depend on him for work, consumer products and services. His ultimate goal is to control all of the world’s resources. When all the people on the planet have to buy from his companies, he will have ultimate power.

The Enforcers:
They are The Chairman’s paramilitary force. They number in the tens of thousands. They are spread across the planet to enforce the Chairman’s orders.

Functions: Corporate Sabotage, Intimidation, Bribery, Assassination, Corporate Espionage. Trained in urban warfare. Equipped with hi-tech automatic rifles made to resemble 1920’s Tommy Guns.

Seriously, those are total win! Those enforcers are simple, yet effective as faceless minions. Might I ask what kind of paints you use, as they look manufacturer's quality. As a matter of fact, I would almost think that the coats look like they are molded in the brown, they are that smooth looking. Anyways, kudos on well thought out and executed customs my friend!

Awesome. Almost like Headman and the Headhunters during the prohibition era. The modified tommy guns are just sick. I going to copy that right now despite not having anything planned to use it.

Yeah, what they said. Love the execution on these guys - I had no intentions of getting any more ROC Destros, but now I am compelled to do just that and make some henchmen.

Great job OB!

This is awesome. I need to reply to the GP entries too. I get what you are saying about the vibe being a little like Stranger's post. Both give me a COPS feel, to be honest.

Perfect parts choices, and slick paint apps as is always expected with your stuff.

Thanks guys. :-D

Todd, the brown is Tamiya Red Brown (XF-64). I also seal the figures with super flat ceramic sealer when the painting is done. This is what gives the paint that extra pop and makes it look factory.

I'm glad you guys liked these. I have some ideas to expand this sub-group. I'd like to add a lieutenant and maybe another type of henchman.

I like these, but there is something off about the main guy.

I feel like he needs a hat, maybe a fedora with a white band on it.

Or I'd paint his gloves black.

On a side note, should you decide to do some lieutenants, I'd love to see some with suspenders as web gear. (cross WWE's 'IRS' character with Wall Street's "Gordon Gecko" but as a quasi-paramilitary/security force goon)

BIG fan of this concept and the execution here.

The figures look totally legit...like some inspired Hasbro employee used them in a pitch meeting (where he was promptly told that it wasn't nice to joke about evil corporations).

I'm seriously thinking about stealing this idea.

These look Amazing! Love the design and definately get a C.O.P.S vibe. It just screams Button Mc Boom Boom to me. What is the recipe most look familiar but I may be off a few parts.

Great work man, looks like a legit team. The only think I would have changed was moving the leg holster to either a shoulder or hip (it would just fit more into the overall scheme imo) but man, do I love those thompsons.

All the weapons are from Marauder.

Nothing I can add to what everyone else has. These are absolutely fantastic and I love the concept.
