One of my favorites as a kid was Blowtorch... always thought he was cool, mostly because of all the accessories and stuff. I never had him go into battle without everything either. I never got Charbroil (the original) and I started this custom before I picked up RoC Charbroil (who I really only got for the mirror head for my Cobra Commander custom).

Ok, enough history. My Blowtorch is a real mish-mash of parts, because I was running out of certain pieces of fodder. I had to make my own lower torso out of a WWF Build n' Brawl figure so I chopped one and inserted the metal balls for the legs, used apoxie sculpt and hot glue to help fill the gaps. Used a screw to help make the top joint peg.

Other recipe tidbits, top to bottom:
helmet: Naboo soldier
head: 25A Comic Pack Hawk
Mask + Hose: RoC Deep Six
Armor: RoC Pit Commando
Pack/Tank: True Heroes figure
Upper Torso: RoC Pit Commando
Upper Arms: RoC Pit Commando
Lower Arms: RoC Viper Commando
Lower Torso: see description above
Legs: RoC Pit Commando
Flamethrower: RoC Flash

The flames were made by hot-glueing a drinking straw to the end of the gun and then painting it. Took a few tries to get it right but I like the effect. First time I've ever done this.

"Take that, Croc Master!"

(Sniff) "Hey, does anyone know if cooked croc tastes like chicken?"

"I... am not photoshopped!"

I painted the armor black and silver mainly to be a little different, and partly because I've
seen on tv how flame-retardant suits tend to be more reflective in nature than orange
and flame colored and all that... figured a mix of charred black and silver works.

Enjoy!

If it ain't broke, take it apart and lose some of the pieces. Then, it'll be a custom.
