  • This section is for honest critique of the work shown here. Members are encouraged to give and accept non-confrontational constructive criticism as well as adoring praise and everything in between.
  • In order to show case everyone's work equally, please post multiple customs on the same day into a single thread. If you have a lot of pictures of your work you may have to add them to a separate post within that thread.
  • Please do not link to a sale thread or to eBay from your critique thread. This section isn't to be used to market your finished work. The Market Place section is better suited for that purpose.

These are really nice. They do remind me of the way that the Cobra scientists were presented in the comic. A couple of them might look cool with a tie, maybe as a distinction for the head scientist.

I am building my own little lab crew as well. I am a biologist, so my Joe alter-ego is a hazmat specialist and my Cobra alter-ego is a maniacal biochemist whom has almost killed himself in the pursuit of his work.

If you are looking for goggles without a ton of investment - Snow Job goggles can be passable safety goggles. If you simply cut away a small portion at the back where they connect, they will take on a more glasses/safety goggles like form. If you want, you can even thin the sides down even further, and they hold nicely. Even just with cutting out the back piece, they will then fit the Res. Trooper heads really nice. I also got clear styrene and plastic wire to form a nice set of goggles once...once. I wont be trying that again, so you can assume that's not a very LBC thing to do. lol

For a tie, try vinyl (electrical tape with the glue removed).
