In a Transformers-related interview with Michael Bell (that'd be the voice of Duke, kiddies!) in a Moonbase 2 podcast, Mr. Bell has revealed not only the presence of an upcoming Transformers cartoon, but also mentionned an upcoming 26-episode G.I.Joe cartoon, for which he's auditionned for the role of General Hawk.

Got the news from the Chris McFeely at the Allspark, to give credit where it's due.

If Hawk's on board, count me in! Heck, I'm sure I'll tune in anyway...

That'd be weird to hear "Duke's" voice as Hawk, but just desserts at the same time :hawk:

It was 74 minutes long and low quality, so no. Had homework to do instead.

G.I.*JOE was Michaels Bell's show, I'd say he had the most characters. If not him, then Chris Latta. He had a great voice for Duke and Clutch and Xamot and Lift Ticket and Blow Torch and Buzzer and...

Where are these from?

(and yeah, the feel like stylized animated version of the ROC Elite-Vipers)

Looks like a GIJOE version of the Star Wars Clone Wars cartoons from a few years back.

Wolverine and the X-Men...
and i have another pic of them using automatic weapons that definitely makes them seem more like ROC vipers .

It wouldn't shock me to see something along these lines with regard to a joe cartoon.

If they do something like that I'd be all for it.

Please let it have good realistic animation and no stylized mumbo jumbo that has been done to death. Details, attention, and depth. This current trend of cheaping out on animation by making everything sharp angles and flat is old and boring.

Something new please.

Well, said, Dave.
They could just continue with Resolute. I'd be fine with that.

Simpler, stylized animation makes for cheaper animation, so more money can be spent on things like number of frames used, amount of stock footage used, etc.

Compare the 90s Spider-Man and X-Men cartoons to the 90s Batman and Superman cartoons to see my point. Sure Batman and Superman are stylized, but let's face it the animation quality is much superior.
There's a reason both Spectacular Spider-Man and Wolverine & The X-Men went with a more stylized style now.

In that regard, compare the recent Transformers Animated to the preceeding Armada, Energon and Cybertron. It's a no-brainer which has the better animation.

Dave said "something new". Not "like in the 80s but with grimdark deaths". :p

I'd go along with the new series looking Resolute.
