So, awhile back, I made a custom of one of my favorite video game characters, Kratos from the God of War series:

viewtopic.php?f=14&t=15225&p=170473

And it was one of my favorite customs. Unfortunately, I used a RIT-dye base for the figure, and it bled HORRIBLY. I've never had dye-bleed be a problem before, but this utterly ruined the custom. I tried repainting, and it just bled back through. I was pretty pissed off. But I decided to recreate the custom. I didn't want to use a BnB base this time, though (no foot-peg holes, too shrimpy). Thankfully, I was able to salvage some of the more difficult to make parts from the first custom. Here's new new one:

And just for fun, Kratos vs. my latest purchase:

And if you're curious, here's what the remains of the old version look like. Use RIT dye with care, I guess is the moral of the story:

25th Kratos:
Head: Walmart 'Resolute' Roadblock (modified)
Upper body: Night Adder
Legs: MU Ronin
Skirt belt: Pirates of the Caribbean accessory
Skirt: misc fabric
Belt Armor: cut up part of Montezuma Skeleton waist armor
Athena blades: Ninja Battles spears w/ cobra dagger hilts and hotglue flames

Dude! You have to use the old one as a zombie! Perfect skin tone! 8-O

The new Kratos looks great also.

Great work! Especially love the photo of Kratos going against the Rancor/Basilisk! Big thumbs up, Darko! :D

I can dig it. Great character. And I can't recall a time I didn't have bleed issues with Rit Dye.

Excellent ! GoW is one of my favorite games, can't wait for GoW lll

I like that bled through body, it looks more like when he got his white/ashy skin tone in the game, plus it has sandaled feet, which to me is more accurate.

Great work Darko, keep thems a comin.

Man, he is sweet!

You've gotta make some of his extra weapons and I fully expect a flaming chain attack Athena blades.

Loved the old one, and the new one is just as good. Convinced that RIT dye is not the answer for me. I also think the second one could easily become a zombie.
