Okay, the title of this thread may be a bit misleading. No creepy sooden-masked fast food mascots here. But as I was pulling this figure together, I realized what the character's file name is and I haven't been able to get the Burger King commercial icon out of my head.

Anyway, this is another of my attempts to secure all of the major single-carded characters in 25th-style custom form. I thought Sneak Peek deserved to look a little less doughy and generally goofy, so I slimmed down his profile some (left him the jowly face, though) and darkened his color scheme a bit.

Not sure if I'm going to give him his signature periscope tower or not. That's always seemed like one of the silliest accessories ever.

What do you guys think?

Awesome. I bought Sneak Peek back in the day (yes, of my own volition!) and I liked him. I like this one even more.

I find it odd that you went tall and skinny with him after posting this in response to my sneak peak last year...

Sneak Peek, not so much. Even by the Hobbitlike standards of the old sculpts in general, the original figure always seemed extra stout and round. Always made me envision the character as a pudge. So I just can't get my head around your tall, skinny version.

If it were me, I'd swap in a Snake Eyes body and legs to take off some of the height and mid a vest to look like his chest pad so you get the illusion of added girth.

But great figure in my opinion. ;)

I expected a Burger King night ops custom. However, thats a pretty rad custom, not many can make Sneak Peek look badass.

Night Ops Burger King FTW!

Now you must make that custom to atone.

Well, whenever I thought about casting the role of Sneak Peek, I always envisioned a baby faced Oliver Platt in the role. He's not exactly svelte, but one doesn't exactly gets lotsa exercise in a hidey hole.

I think he needs his periscope. It's iconic. You mention the name Sneak Peek and people think: gray suit with red padding and a green periscope.

It's like taking away Wild Bills revolvers....

I had Sneak Peek doing urban type missions, similar to the SAS guys hanging outside the wall of the Iranian Embassy in London gathering intel.

If you don't wanna go that route, how about giving him a black duffel bag to haul around? Like Hit & Run's? That way he could carry the periscope in the bag...

I like him, great rendition.

As for the periscope, that was one of my favorite things about him. I look at the ARAH figure nowadays, and do not like the actual figure or colors, but love the periscope!

At that time during the ARAH run, many figures came with big or unique accesories: Fast Draw's Rocket packs, Recoils case of claymores, Rock n rolls dual drop minguns....This is one of th iconic late 80's accesories that just brings a wave of nostalgia with it for me.

I wonder if today's kids will fondly remember ROC Ripcord's tank-treaded spring loaded launcher.....or Snake Eyes grappling hook, recoil pack....

In short: YES to the periscope.....or Persicope FTW!

Okay, guys. I'm convinced. I'll track down a periscope for him asap.

The head, to address that inquiry, came off a Speed Racer figure (the one in the suit coat).

Thanks for checking this out and for the input.

I really like him, You definitely made him less goofy looking. Is the chest padding sculpted or did you take it from something else?

That padding started out as the vest from a Wal Mart exclusive Scrap Iron. Initially I just put it on backwards to see how it would look. Next thing I knew, I was cutting and shaping it to fit.

Glad you like it.

Wow, really? From what I've seen all the Speed Racer heads are minuscule.
