I started a cardboard mock-up of the large vehicle driven by Steeler in the early Marvel run (when the Joes meet the Oktober Guard for the first time). The plan was to work all the kinks out and then make it in styrene. I bought a book about styrene and realized I was in over my head.

One of those rare times when I did a little thinking instead of rushing out and wasting lots of money on styrene and supplies.

I was going to build a full scale mock up of the USS Flagg, but I figured the neighbors five blocks to my left and right might get pissed, SOOOOOOOO, I'm going to get the dimentions of the toy version and at least try to build a flight deck from plywood, and if not scratch build the island, maybe try to scrounge parts of it from eBay and other stores.

Other than that, maybe some beat up looking buildings for a portion of my Dio-Story that takes place at Groom Lake, aka Area 51. The buildings located there are state of the art, but they use a clever camouflage technique to make the outsides of the buildings look old and rusty.

I have assembled the parts to build a mad-scientist lab but just haven't had the room to put it together.
I imagine it being about two and a half feet long, 1 foot deep and 1 foot tall with a sort of split level. Not unmangeable but not easy to haul around.

There is always the problem of what to do with it once its done. I had a great time building/rebuilding a larger version of the POTC bath house playset.. but then I had no where to put it once I was done displaying it. (it then cracked in two and I haven't had the time and wherewithal to fix it... to then again put it in a box)

DarkJedi and I have discussed our similar projects with each other before, as I, too, am working on a Dreadnok Roadhouse. It's going to be true 1:18, but I've had to put it on hold while I finish up some projects around the house.

I have a garbage bag filled with Dyalite foam, and I am not afraid to use it.
;-)

Actually, inspired by the Custom Celebration shoebox dio, I have some plans to make more of the same, but for various locales and themes.

For obscenely large, I have:

1:24 scale(for my Morrowind homies):

Daedric Shrine and surrounding terrain.

Lokken (see below)
If you know where she lived, then you know that Lokken is ambitious.

The Goblyn Market - many have made illustrations from the 19th century onward on what the original Goblin Market looked like, and some, like Charles Vess made a great visual (in the Books of Magic TPB). So, why not have a place where my figures could go to buy everything from fresh defeathered Cockatrice, to enchanted weapons.

A detailed Mead Hall like Herot.

I already did a 1/72 scale slice of Menzoberranzan, now the trick is making one in this scale for these:

I have the schematics drawn up for a Cobra Volcano base. The interior would include a hanger to fit my four Mamba's and a couple of Rattler's, along with command center and barracks.
I'm just waiting till I can get a bigger place and have the space for it.

I'm also beginning work on a Joe artic base, and a naval base. I've been sketching out designs for a new PITT as well, but that's got a ways to go yet.

I've always wanted to put together a Joe scale train, not unlike the one Hasbor planned back in the nineties. I've never managed to find the right pieces in the right scale to get started.

Always wanted a Joe-Scale Godzilla (of course, that'd be about 8' or so) -- be happy with one that was 3-4 feet.

One day I'll grab one of those "life size" MyBuddy-type dolls and start sculpting scales on him...

I've got an experimental Joe fighter Jet I've been toying around with since last summer. Might have it done by this summer.

Nothing really huge I want to make, but there's some sets I'd love to build. I'd like to make a good cave entrance exterior, and a couple of interior cave sets. One of the interior ones would have all sorts of techno-organic "stuff" taking over the place. I'd also really like a mad scientist's lab, prefferably with the underground techno-organic theme continuing. I want to make a generic tech base style set that could be either a room or a hallway.

What I really want to build, but have the least use for, is a star ship bridge. It would probably only be about 16" square, if that big. I just can't come up with a good layout, for it. All I know is that the captain's chair would be based off of Kirk's chair, from the original series. It wouldn't be an exact duplicate, but the inspiration would be obvious. I'd also need to build a tech looking circular table, that would be a holographic display in front of the captain's chair. I figure it would be held in place by a magnet, and when removed, there'd be a duplicate of the tabletop on the floor, to give the illusion of it being retractable. I'd also need to make some of the bio-mechanical drones that crew the ship.

After making Devastator I think I'm finished with large customs. I've got him stored outside in the backyard- which I'm not so thrilled over. If I get a house with a basement I'd like to make a Batcave and maybe a Cobra temple.

I have wanted to do a Flagg made out of flower troughs with a spot for the new PIT and VTOL areas.
