 Post subject: Removing the Tomahawk Rotor Blades?

My recommendation is don't, if you can find a way around it. If they're as locked in place as the Dragonfly rotor blades, which I had to try to remove one time, then it's not worth the nightmare. I could well be mistaken on this one, but... just my two cents.

Take a broad tip flat -tip screw driver, stick it in the slots between where the blades are connected to the main rotor hub and twist. The rotor hubs are two pieces and will seperate when you twist the screw driver. Don't twist too far or you can foul it up. The two halves seperate, you can pull the blade out. You'll have to do this next to each blade.

Could also use a dremel & carefully cut away the plastic around the blades.

This works, you just want go nice and slow, so you don't tweak the hubs.
