I got 5 ove the $4.98 Joe sets today. I'd feel bad for taking so many except that there were still 5 more on the shelf. Also scored about 5 of the wrestlers at $1.26, an entire set of Secret Saturdays toys for my son, and a ton of other little stuff for here and there. I didn't see any projectors - are these in the toy section? May have to go back. On first view, it looked like everything had been picked clean, but then I hit the mother load.

No Rancor though. For that price, I'd have nabbed one for sure. May try another target tomorrow.

Finally did get a Target set for $5.

Picked up a few sets of the Joe pack. I figure at ~$1.25 a figure, that's a lot of good fodder for cheap. Also stopped at Wal-Mart and found the Star Wars Evolutions pilot set (Luke, some chick, some A-wing dude) for $12.

I'm almost entirely convinced my Target has a scalper employee. I've had suspicions before when every joe and star wars item disappears the second the 75% clearance hits, but this time I'm almost positive. Late last night I was in Target and they had almost two full shelves of the Joe set, still marked at $10. I had to go back to Target early this morning, and decided to check again. The 75% off tags were up, but every single Joe set was gone. Which sucks, because I really wanted the fodder. And the package. Has anyone scanned the package yet? Could someone?

That's actually not uncommon Darko. I've seen it at numerous Targets here. Not entirely sure what they do with the stuff though. There was a few years in a row where I'd start seeing Target tagged merchandise show up at Goodwill in late January, but I can't imagine this is widespread, since I've never heard anyone else talk about it.

If you're lucky they just pulled them in the back so they could do the reset and they'll show up again when they find the space.

If you have a head and armor from the 2 pack blue night creeper, try putting it on that body. It's an awesome combo, and makes the Night creeper blend in with the other ROC movie figures.

Goodwill receives most of the clearance merchandise that does not sell in the store. Once it hits the "salvage" date, all items are removed from shelf, and packed and sent to goodwill for a small cost and then they get to sell it for what ever they want.

TONS of the UPBs last year ended up at Goodwills across the country. Most of which were put on auction at goodwill.com. Now Goodwill does have people that do take items from the back of their stores, and if you see that happening, talk to their manager as well (unless it's the manager doing it).

Damn.... at $5 a pack... I would take a bunch of those Target sets. Too bad I will never find them at that price here in LA. They were all gone at $10. Can anyone hook me up with a few?

This is kinda of a clearance so I'm posting it here...


I stopped into Target tonight and saw that the prices for the GIJOEs went up to $7.89, but one row still had the $5.99 price tag on it.

I took the Armor Scarlett and the Reactive Armor Duke to the scanner and they rang up at $3.49 each. No stickers and some others (Heavy Duty, Cover Girl, Deep-Six) rang up at $5.99.

I saw that at target also one price on a tag and another...weird, well if they go up to the $8 they won't sell since target usually has the 1st and 2nd wave overaboundance stuff
