I know I am no where near as good as several on here but figured I would put some of my custom superheroes up.

First up is the beginning of my Dark Avengers.

Hawkeye/Bullseye is Green Goblin with Destro feet and Wraith hands, the head is from Tri-Gate.

Ares is Thunderball with Nemisis Enforcer's head.

Protocide is just a repainted Cap. (this is one i did when i first got Cap).

DareDevil just has an abdomen transplant from Iron Man. It lengthens his torso and gets rid of the squat look. Elektra is just Ms Marvel with a Pademe (sp?) head.

The Avengers..

Thor is MLS with a Tri-Gate head.
Vision has an abdomen transplant like DareDevil.
D-Man is a yellow DareDevil (Tri-Gate head and darker paint over the red).
Scarlett Witch is Enchantress (prototype) painted up and red cape from SW figure.
Black Panther is black Spidey with BP head and MM wrestler hands.
Cap was also done as soon as the figures came out (MLS hands and feet on MU body) with Tri-Gate head.
Mockingbird is Ms Marvel body with female Evolutions Jedi arms, head is Firestar head with Ms Marvel hair.

They look good Lance. I've noticed, over the last year of us being friends, that your work has greatly improved!

That is the DCUIH Starfire.

The body sucked, but that head was great. I have some more, and hope to post later this weekend.

Thanks again for the kind words.

Two nice looking sets of customs Lance. I have that Star Sapphire head, and wouldn't have thought to use it that way. good eye.

elektra and Daredevil are probably my faves of the group

Cool stuff, Lance!

The Dark Avengers are a great idea - I think this is the first time we've seen any here.

Ares is totally stolen. I'm working on a Hercules right now, and you've given me the perfect nemesis (pun not intended)

Love the idea for Vision - if I could have thought of that when I first fixed mine, I could have saved myself a Guardian figure and a ton of paint. Any plans to paint the IM torso?

I like where you were going with BP - I want a more limber version as well (still working on it), but the Black Spidey body is TOO thin, IMO.

Hadn't seen that Thor's head at Tri-gate - gonna have to give that one a whirl.

-- And I wish the Enchantress would have been released prior to me modding the hell out of a ROC Scarlett head for my Wanda - that works incredibly well.

Thank you Dan.

I was not sure about painting up Vision. I never could understand all the yellow and green and just a red face plate. I was thinkin of painting the crotch and leaving the abdomen red.

I also have Herucles in works, but did not have him with me to take pics of.

I cannot wait to see what you do on your Black Panther (have been hoping to see you do one).

And I know you will more than out do me on Ares when you do him. (another I cannot wait to see)

Thank you for the kind words. You are one of the major inspirations for me doing Superhero customs (along with some others).

Dude - I'm not so sure - I was just looking it over again and the flesh-tone is friggin' spot on - way better than anything I usually do. I'm guessing that the chest armor is from Spy Troops Barrel Roll (or a repro) where's the helmet from - is it scratch built?

Off to buy more fodder with what's left of my tax return! :D

Bing Bing on the Chest plate (i think, it was a left over from my Joe fodder).

The helmet? Kind of scratch built. I dremeled out several of the Magneto heads i had to make helmets. This is one of those. The fin was from the MM wrestler's head. I just cut a groove in the head then glued it down.

Glad you like him, that means a lot. the skin tone is just elf flesh lined with drawf flesh for shadows and muscle tone.

I have some others I hope to post this weekend... I hope they get a decent reception. I saw what you did with Bucky/Cap and hope mine is as well received. Plus now I have to finish Hercules and some of my others. Then back to the X-Men.

Thanks for the feedback and comments.

now for a couple more Avengers.

Wonderman, Hercules and Spider-Woman

I decided on Wonderman to not go with the dark hair as it really made the figure too dark.

And my Herc is a pale job compared to Dan's but I had to go ahead and post him.
