Hey kids,
These are the first in a series of Action Force customs Ive done. I finished these two today, should have about 3-4 more done this week. My logic was to do figures with parts I might actually imagine they would use in AF and colors they might do as well. Click on the images for close ups. Enjoy!

FLICKER (Flash)and Black Adder (Wild Weasel)

I really dig that Wild Weasel, once again. Great job ZG, that's really AF-like! I really like the use of the decals 8-O

I'm not so thrilled about the Flash one, I think the blue tone turns me off a bit. And it seems the gold paint app on his left kneepad is missing some at the separation. Great paint apps though, I'm always amazed at how well your gold and silver apps come out, and how smooth they look!

Thanks. Im a big fan of that WW mold, it just has a great pilot look to it that works in pretty much any decent color. The red of the original really does it a disservice.

ZG,

I like the Wild Weasel sculpt in different colors. As much as I think he should be in red or a crimson color to signify his position as the 'commodore' of the Cobra Air Corps, seeing him in black gives me an idea for a squadron of Wild Weasel's hand-picked pilots that fly the Rattler.

As for Flicker, I'm guessing the camera has added a sheen to the paint apps. I'm really appreciating seeing og13 parts in different colors. I haven't seen too many cartoon episodes, but I know there were other colors besides the traditional ones. I think if the blue was more subdued it would work better. It seems to bright (not talking the sheen, but the actual color).

Aye, I head ya. Flicker was the first of my proposed Action Force figures. I was on the fence about the blue, and its probably a little too dark. Over the rest of the week, you'll be able to see the rest of the AF figures Ive done. They're currenly drying :)

Some hits, some misses.... all were inspired by the last GP.

Interesting figures. I really like how they turned out. Though I think the Wild Weasel repaint is just a bit cooler then the other one.

Say is there any chance of one of the other figures being a Ton Up? Even if it's just a v1 RNR repaint I'd love to see it since Ton Up was an unaltered in any way v1 RNR to drive the Wolverine.

Black Adder looks good. First I was expecting Rowan Atkinson, but this is cool too ;)

This post is at least a year old.. if you search the archives, youll find a bunch of figures I did around the same time using 882/83 stuff.. simple repaints in wacky colors including a RNR.
