"We regret to inform you, your highness, that we may have a problem with some of Cobra's assets in South America. Unsure of how much you're aware of from the days before your...ascension...to the throne, allow us to provide you with some background, deeply apologizing in advance if we are covering old ground. Shortly after your husband, our dear Emperor, secured Cobra's control of the North American continent, his top generals thought it wise to make an incursion into South America, for the purposes of gaining control of the rich oil reserves and...other highly profitable exports. The invasion was swift and brutal. The armies of the South American countries were no match for our military might. The worst resistance came from various drug lords and cartels, really. But, eventually, even they were overthrown or bought off. Our commander in South America was a Cobra general called Ciclon. Being from Brazil himself, he seemed a natural choice to lead the invasion, and, later, to maintain our control. And, we can't help but speculate, it was probably for the best to remove Ciclon from the company of our larger forces. He's a most...disagreeable...human being. His dossier reads like the plot of a horror movie. He was raised in a Satanic coven. We are not speaking of some group of parent-hating teenagers who gathered to listen to heavy metal and draw pentagrams on their math books, nor do we mean the relatively docile Church of Satan. This was a group of murderers to rival the Manson family. They all perished in a government raid of their compound, a raid which uncovered numerous mass graves and evidence of ritualistic torture and cannibalism. Ciclon, only a child then, was the only survivor. As you can imagine, it has left him rather unbalanced. Still, he has a quick mind and a useful ruthlessness that has made him a valuable asset on the battlefield.

For many years, all was well in South America. Ciclon's forces managed to quash uprisings before they began, and our control was maintained. However, in the past year, there have been an increasing number of attacks on our installments. Our Crimson Guard agents have managed to link these attacks to a group called IRON. You may have heard of IRON in the days before Cobra's conquest of America, during the years when we were in hiding, marshaling our forces. Several minor despots attempted to fill the vacuum left by Cobra, and most were dealt with swiftly by GI Joe and Action Force. One such despot was General Blitz, IRON's supreme commander. He's a former Nazi general who, using experimental cryogenics technology, managed to preserve himself after the fall of the Third Reich, only to be revived later by his loyal followers. Though a brilliant military mind, Blitz was unprepared for how warfare had changed during his time on ice, and had also been left gravely weakened by the experience. He was thus no match for GI Joe. He was being held in The Coffin when our forces took over the facility. He offered his services to the Emperor, but, wanting nothing to do with Nazi scum like Blitz, Serpentor refused and ordered him executed. However, before the order could be carried out, he managed to escape with the aid of his followers. He stayed off of our radar until now, not that we were actively looking for him. Unfortunately, it seems he has gained some understand of modern warfare since his last defeat. Highly charismatic, he has managed to gather a considerable force in South America. Still, we figured he would be no match for Ciclon. But then we stopped getting reports from Ciclon, and were unable to reach any of our South American outposts. Concerned, we sent one of our agents to investigate. His report came back today. Apparently, Ciclon has fallen under Blitz's thrall. He has turned over complete control of Cobra's assets in South America to IRON. What's more, the troops that were previously serving under Ciclon are now also loyal to General Blitz. The report didn't come back alone, either. It was sent in a large crate, along with the dismembered remains of our agent. Your highness, we have a new front in this war."

That was a lot of text. Thanks for reading if you did.

Parts:

Ciclon:
Head: Red Fang Ninja
Upper Torso: RoC Eel
Lower Torso: RoC Flash
Upper legs: RoC Flash (I think)
Lower legs: RoC Neo Viper
Arms: Neo Viper
Claw: Dr. Rex
Helmet: Resolute Trooper

General Blitz
Head: Indy General Vogel w/ Rex mask
Upper Body: Indy General Vogel
Lower Body: Resolute Cobra Commander

I don't know much about General Blitz, so I didn't worry too much about sticking to his canon story line. I just wanted to do a "Nazis in South America" story. Ciclon does stick somewhat to his file card, though (if you read the translation, it talks about him being raised in a Satanic cult). You may recognize Ciclon as the RoC Overlord I made for the last Custom Celebration. Since I already had a Rise of Cobra Overlord, I decided to change the head on this one and reappropriate him (seemed appropriate since Ciclon is the Brazilian version of Overlord).

Both are cool looking, but Blitz steals the show.

Yeah, I've had a 'Nazis in South America' story brewing for awhile too. It's a very intriguing backstory. Lot's of possibilities for any verse.

Here, you executed it perfectly with regard to Blitz. On the figure itself, the fusion with the articulated lower half is flawless. That also gives me an idea as I haven't been fond of the Res. CC as is, but to use the thin lower half for this kind of fusion is perfect. The red is very sharp, and it's a striking figure overall.

I don't know much about Ciclon, but I assume it's a foreign character that you are running with, or paying homage to. Without a base frame of reference, it's harder for me to critique that.

Here's Ciclon for those not familiar with him:

Unfortunately, Yojoe doesn't have a translation of his FC posted. You can run it through babelfish, though, and get a rough approximation.
