Haven't seen any threads about this yet. A new Special Edition and Blu-Ray will be released in July.

To be honest, all I really want to see is the Opening on the big screen and what kind of special features it comes with.

The opening sequence is probably the best bit of animation the whole series ever had and the theme song is awesome, it'll be cool to see it and hear it in hi-def.

Agreed. I was super happy to find out the Cobra sound emblems that came in the 25th 5 packs have part of the theme song.

Great news, considering around the 22nd of April is the next Season of the cartoon being released on DVD.

I still love the opening sequence and have it (audio) on my mp3 player.

It appears that the BD will come in widescreen while the dvd is in fullscreen.

Also, the Blu-Ray version won't have Cobra-La in it at all.
