Futureshock:2o5o> Mercs...


Here's the first actual update to the Futureshock:2o5o realm.

This is one of Gideon's Mercs, which were the security team hired to protect the XENO science caravans as they researched the Wastelands of Neo-Pan. I have several characters from this part of the theme that have never been posted. I'll try to keep things as orderly as possible, with appropriate headings and such.

Once again, I've utilized some other media to help bring this 'verse to life. I hope you will enjoy...

*Global.Light is the primary Federation power company of Neo-Pan, 2o5o.





**"Kill box" is a common Metro slang for Powerkill, a genre of music known for its heavy metal distortion, power riffs and ultra-violent lyrics. It is especially popular with adolescents, particularly in the underprivileged Epsilon Zones of the Federation Metros.






Notes: I used a figure from Guru Planet Toys (Annika) as the base body. The head is actually a heavily modified version of the 25th Anni' Pilot Scarlett. Hands are from the MicroMan line, and the feet/boots are from a Star Wars Dark Woman figure, I believe.

Hair and garb is headandhand style, and the rifle is a slightly bashed and modded SW blaster with a Marauder Gun Runners' Chainsaw Attachment.

Other components have been hodge-podged on from various sources.

well the attention to detail is once again beyond description. Obviously that applies to the figure, but is just as impressive in the creation of the persona. Love the killbox rock and the way this crazy @#$*& looks the part. lol. The album cover (actually as I think about it, is it an album cover or a radio station ad?) and another awesome corporate logo are the icing on the cake.

EDIT: I forgot to add once again how much I dig the comic pics for each of these. It really sells these in a whole new way. Told you in the past how this all had a movie vibe to it. Now you have me thinking this entire project could and should be a comic line of its own (with an eventual Hollywood adaptation inevitable...lol). Have you ever tried pitching this story to a comic publisher? Since yours is entirely original, it might work. doing the same with mine would cost more in licensing than could ever be made in return. lol!
