Almost saved these for NJC 50, but since they're totally swiped from other customizers, I just wanted to share them here.

Finally, completely jacked from unknownsoldier13, I present --- Lex Luthor:




Supes is a re-do -- ended up giving him new arms and then my printer ran out of ink, so I had to hand-paint the "S" on his chest (as with the emblem on Lex.) Not bad, but far from good.


So yeah -- not an original idea in the bunch, but I liked how they turned out.

Supes is basically an MU Warpath with Bulldozer hands and a Comic-pack (ARAH-style) Hawk head (modded).

Out of the 3 Lex's i like them all the most, LOL, but my fave is Power Suit lex, excellent work on them all Chief and i agree don't change the "S" sigil, looks great as is.

These are great, especially power suit Lex, but something feels off about the green pants on neo-classic Lex. Almost like the green is letting through some of the color underneath (not in patches, but in a changing the overall tone of the green sort of way).

Spin, what you are witnessing is the result of spraying Testor's "Dullcoat" on the fig (which isn't dull at all) -- really jacks up the color and tone of the figure, IMO -- I repainted the jacket to dull it down (you can see a "stripe" where I missed some) and I forgot to do the same with the pants. I used the same green for the Power Armor, but as you can see - it's much more even.

Never again, Testors -- NEVER AGAIN!!!

I agree on the PS Lex. I'm totally ripping you off. Excellent work on all, but the PS takes the cake.

Edit: After looking again, the PS reminds me of the one from the Grayson fan-film trailer from a few years back. Would have love to see that on the big screen.

These are all really nice additions to your line-up. I remember back when that head you are using was my default Knighthawk head. You told me then you were using yours for Lex, so it's nice to see that plan finally implemented. Cool how different the same head can look depending on the paint job.

Too bad you only have the one head to share between the three. I think I might have one still around (I had stocked up for my plan to take over the world with Knighthawk customs) before Dave and the gang at TGC sculpted up my ugly mug for me. Might also be worth having Asphalt work one up at some point.

In the pics, the updated Supes looks awesome, hand-painted logo and all. But I wouldn't be the least bit shocked to learn you've already replaced the painted version with a new decal anyway. I know how it is when I feel for myself that something isn't perfect, whether anyone else can see it or not.

The s shield on Supes looks great. I had to take a double take when u said it was hand paint.

All of these look really good, but the two that grab me
