I was just over at the 2010 Botcon page, and there is an annoucement of Hasbro's first inductees into the Transformers Hall of Fame. It listed four creators and four robots who will be inducted during the dinner on the Saturday night of the con.

http://www.botcon.com/BotCon10/Transfor ... -May10.pdf

Now, my questions are: Where's the GI Joe Hall of Fame, and who would be the first inductees? I can't answer the first, but here are my inductees:

Toy Side
Merrill Hassenfeld
Larry Hama
Don Levine
Bob Prupis

Character Side
Snake Eyes
Scarlett
Cobra Commander
Baroness

I thought as a 12" Gi Joe fan you'd know there was already a GI Joe Hall of Fame. :P http://www.yojoe.com/12inch/92/12inchbo ... eyes.shtml

I think you nailed the list so far. I'd probably add Ron Rudat (vehicle and weapons designer) and Kirk Bozigian (marketing genius).

For Figures I think you need to add Duke and Destro.

 I was thinking of them as I was writing this thread. The bodies used for the HOF figures are much like the GIJCC itself, old, rigid, and unmoveable.

I put Prupis in before Bozigian due to he was the head of the concept in 1982 and did a lot of the innovations that became standard, Bozigian would definitely be in for year 2.

If he's not in already, (Uncle) Stan Weston.

We're not related, really.... :shifty:

Dinobot! WTF? Why such a random Beast Wars figure in the mix?

As for joe stuff, isn't this what the Hall of Heroes is kinda supposed to be?
