Airtight- obviously classic inspired but made some ebellishments.
He was a fun custom. Nothing too earth-shattering but I like the look I gave him.
Head: Copperhead
Torso and upper arms: Barbecue
Lower arms: Destro
Upper legs: Duke
Lower legs: Ace.
Crotch guard- ROC Flash.

I really like the look of this one. That torso just seems like a good choice by everyone.

The only thing I think he needs is some type of breathing tubes going to the helmet. It looks like there is a definite section where it could go on his cheeks.

Yellow paint!

I dig it. I've always liked Airtight and this figure is great. I agree on the breathing tubes. Now to get him a pack and weapon and he's set. Awesome.

Are the Destro Grenades on his gauntlet suppose to be something else? I like the parts and the paint is clean. The breathing tubes would be nice but not absolutely necessary.

Next time I'm working in a Level-B environment I'm going to require a crotch guard. Hehe. Afterall the testicles are where toxins are most easily absorbed.

I always love to see a good Airtight custom, and this one is great.

Pluv those grenades could be 5-minute escape pack canisters of oxygen which Airtight distributes to any victims he's escorting out of the hostile environment

I was thinking something along the same lines.

Very nice work on AT.

Man is that nice. I know yellow can be a real pill, and this looks good. How does he hold up on the joints?

Oddly, that's what I was imagining them to be but thought it might be a little too far-fetched. So, we'll go with that's what they are.

I added an airhose from the chest tank to the mask and will upload pictures tonight.

You mean the paint or is he loosey goosey in the joints? The elbow joints are going to paint rubb off to the original black which- meh- is okay with me. The paint holds in the knees. His hips joints were a little loose, I dipped some hot glue into the ball socket and they are fine now.

Thanks for the comments guys!

That's awesome. I never would have thought to use the copperhead head for Airtight.

I had actually thought that the canisters could be containing a neutralizing agent which counters or temporarily alleviates the effects of siege BCGs-- you know, for times when not everyone has the good fortune to be wearing the get-up...

This is the best take on Airtight. Crispy apps. Nicely done.

You might want to try putting some BuildNBrawl elbow pads on him to cover up any paint wear on those joints.

Otherwise, I'm very impressed with how well the Copperhead noggin and Destro gauntlets work for this guy. The codpiece is a little baffling, but it's not the most egregious use of crotch armor i've seen on an action figure.

Well done.

I'm not sure those Duke upper legs work very well... they're way too smooth compared to the wrinkled look of the rest of the limbs.

Other than that, though, color me impressed. Those parts all work incredibly well for an Airtight custom. I had no idea Copperhead's head could work so well for Airtight!

I thought you might have gone for the dual air hoses, but the single works fine too.

Seeing the close-up of the head, I'm wondering about the Copperhead 'ears'-the use of them. Looks like the perfect spot to put some kind of sensor device on each side.

Anyway to put in a small grill-like mesh or something? Maybe even a few dots of paint to simulate LEDs?
