I don't know why I stopped at the bare minimum with this custom, at least in terms of paint.
I guess it's because when I made him I was more concerned with getting the head and accessories right, than anything else.
But even with him and my custom ROC Torpedo (who's just a ROC Shipwreck with a Clone Trooper head) kept apart on my display, it still bugged the heck out of me that his body was just Shipwreck's with black camo on the pants where the dark blue was.

So, more paint was clearly in order.
Green's always been a prominent color on Tunnel Rat. His original toy had his shirt green, his Night Force toy had a green bandanna, gloves and other parts, his Sonic Fighters figure had greenish-tan pants, heck even his new sculpt and TRU 6-pack releases used greens for him. So, green seemed the most logical choice.

Here's how he was before:

Here's how he is now:

Neat, huh?

Let me know what you think.
As always, thanks for looking!

I like it. I like it a lot. One of the better TR customs I've seen.

If you were to tell me you were adding green to this custom I wouldn't think it would help that much. Seeing it really does make the figure pop. The green actually makes the black and grey parts stand out more too.

Thanks!
Even I was surprised at how nice a contrast it made.

I'll be frank, I was hesitant at first because I was afraid the green wouldn't blend well with the blue-ish grey. Nice to know my gambit paid off.

I like the green on the upper body but not really on the pants.Maybe paint the pants all green with camo but the blue/grey that hasbro used I don't care for

Wow what a deference a little color makes.
A huge improvement.
