These are some original characters I made for New Earth, a custom ongoing site.

Dead Patriot: All Jack Lawton ever wanted was to make America safe. He enlisted in the Marines a year before he was actually eligible using forged paperwork. He ran through the ranks but always remained in the field. After 7 years of service he opted for the Reserves and became a United States Marshal hunting fuguitives at which he excelled. Towards the end of his service with the USM he was assigned to the Milwaukee branch in WI. After 10 years he retired from the USM and moved to Seymour in northern WI where he became Sheriff. He married built a home and had a child. Then New Earth happened. One of the first things to be vacated were the jails and prisons and Jack had put away a lot of sick individuals. Being one of the few lawmen that had maintained his position he did his best to keep things in line. Coming home one night, he could see the pillar of smoke rising from where his home sat over a mile away. He burried the accelerator. Coming to a skidding halt in his front yard he almost fell out of his squad as the horror hit him. His murdered wife was nailed to a makeshift cross in the yard. Inside the burning home, at the front window, stood David Dunn aka Scar Crow. David Dunn was a serial killer Jack had put away years ago. He would surprise victims in their own homes and let them think they were winning the fight, taking great physical abuse, before killing them. He had Jack's son! Jack ran to the front door kicking it in, blind with rage. All Jack saw was a cinder block on the end of a baseball bat flying towards his head. The world went black. He woke later in the back of his squad, a gaping wound down the left side of his face and a note pinned to his chest. All the note said was, "Not yet!" Jack Lawton was dead all that remained was the soldier and the lawman. Dead Patriot had a mission, actually two. The first was to begin hunting down all the scum that was set loose and executing those already found guilty. The second: Revenge!

Scar Crow: Serial killer David Dunn was captured by USM Jack Lawton. Dunn's mo consisted of picking victims that would put up a fight, surprising them in their own homes and letting them think they were winning the fight before killing them. He was dubbed the Scar Crow by the media due to the tremendous wounds he endured weaving his craft. New Earth had set him free and he intended to return the favor

The Gauntlet: Remember the guy that you thought was a jock but was actually a nerd? That's Jake Evans. Jake looks like a jock because he's one of those nerds that has been preparing for a zombie apocalypse since he first saw Dawn of the Dead. Jake could have been the lead in his field in Ballistics and or Fiber Optics Technology. He had been on a strict diet and work out regiment since the 8th grade. All the money he ever made went towards stockpiling for zombie defense. He converted his house into a defendable bunker. His weapon cache are all items he himself modified. He designed a suit capable of withstanding .50 cal rounds. His helmet has several scan modes built into the visor and is capable of both receiving and sending sat signals. When it started he held his ground for months, but then boredom and curiousity got the best of him and he ventured out, which is where he met his partner:

The Agent: She knew better than to go out alone, but she was an idiot for going out after dark. Before she knew it she was chased into a sewer tunnel by one of the gangs fighting for turf in her burrough. And the tunnel was exactly where they wanted her because she ran straight into more of them. Upwards of fifteen when she stopped counting. She begged. They laughed. She remebers one of them punching her in the face. She felt a tug at her shirt. Then she saw a red glow at the opening of the tunnel. "Let her go." Then the tunnel lit up like a 100 watt bulb in a shoe box. They all focused their fire on him and he just kept moving forward grinding them up with lead one by one.

Now they work as a team. She books the client. He solves their problem. Typically they take back houses and buildings that belonged to one group that were taken by another. Looking out for those who can't look out for themselves.

Gauntlet's solution to problems: "You walk in the front door and kill em all!"

This is a bad-ass set, Will. They're all great but Scar Crow is my fave, followed closely by The Agent. Great part selection and painting that makes for some really unique pieces. You're torso fusing technique looks seamless here.

What's the head on Scar Crow and the scarf on The Agent?

The Gauntlet is supercool! His look is steampunk, post-apocalyptic, yet modern like an urban SWAT-member. Nice one!

I like how the first two have similar enough looks that they could be members of the same team yet they are very distinct from one another. That's not easy to pull off.

Gauntlet is just wicked looking.

this is probably my favorite set of customs from you Will, and I like that they are all originals with compelling story lines to really draw us in. I admit that I was not as much into the line of Champions figures you focused on for a time (not that they weren't quality figures, just not my particular genre) but these very much bring me back as a fan.

I agree. These are my favorites from you, too.

Sound all the way around.

Slick stuff.
