I had posted this first over in the Convention section in the 3 3/4 AT thread and decided to repost it over here.

As many know the club showed off a photoshop image of the Johnny Quest Sub last year for the 3 3/4" Adventure Team they are doing. A friend of mine offered to make one for Brian to show at the Convention this year, but due to Hasbro destroying many of the molds it was thought that JQ sub was destroyed so my buddy used the Cobra Manta sub instead. Brian did not show this as my friend went a little too overboard on the detail and stickers and the JQ sub may have survived. I was able to buy the Manta off my friend. The figure in the sub is a quick LBC I did.

So depending on how things go, we may see this or the Johnny Quest sub.

I like it. I do agree there are a few too many stickers on it but I don't see the complaint about the detail. The cockpit has some nice detail work but the rest is about what I'd expect from a current Hasbro or Club offering.

Question - is there a reason he went with white instead of AT yellow?

Pretty sharp. I could really see this happening. I love how the action "claw" on the front is totally AT.

As Matthew showed, white and black are the colors of the original. But he did do one up in AT yellow. I will see if he can send me some pictures of it and I will post it.

For the stickers and detail, Brian wanted it to be kept down to help keep the price down. The way he described it the number of new decals he would have to create would help drive the price up.

I love it. I don't think the stickers are overdone, but the Adventure Team on the side could be considered a little redundant with the AT logo already there. Excellent piece here!

Awesome...this is super sweet to the max!

I have always liked the sting raider vehicle and think it is versatile in may different roles.....just like your great rendition here!

Awesome. Loving all things sub or DSRV related, and this brings back many memories of the subs from the earlier 12" fare. Rocked it for sure.

AT stuff always brings me back.

I love the attention to detail-- especially on the interior.

I am going to agree that the logos that are spelled out in giant-scale letters in triplicate across such a small area might be a bit loud-- but hey, if that's what you like, then cool...

I dig the figure too, by the way.

Got some shots of the alternate colors schemes for the Sea Wolfs subs that were made for Brian.

Here is the sub done in yellow.

The yellow one is growing on me and if Brian offered it I would not totally mind. Let me know what you guys think.
