For some reason I have always adored Zandar. Here is my take on him with a somewhat resolute style. I wish I could have fit pink in there somewhere but it just didn't work if I kept it simple. I like how Breaker is so lanky.. it fits well for Zandar. He still looks like a swamp pirate. The only things I need to add are the gold earrings. The shirt was supposed to be dark navy blue similar to the resolute trooper's vest, but it ended up turqoise/green.... Not sure if I'll keep it.

I like her and your idea of adding the 3rd shade in her pants

I love the chest and arms. A very cool look. I do think the face could stand to be a little more weathered, or older looking. Also, whenever I see that camo pattern for the legs, I think GI Joe. I'm not entirely sure it works here.

EDIT: I realized what the head reminds me of.

The head looks really young and really small which could just be because of the perspective of the photos. I like the overall design and what you were going for. I agree that the pants need something to set them apart from the other ROC Joes.

Haha that anime does look the same. Nuts! I was basing his look off the frame in the devils due series when serpentor came back and everyone was attacking the coil and Zandar had heard that there was an infiltrator on the island (Zartan) and he looked all pissed and said he was going to deal with him (and promptly got stabbed).

The head does look wicked small in the photos but in person it looks alright to me. It is not any smaller than any of the regular joe heads or breaker's head that came with the figure. As for the age... Well, yeah. He looks young. Maybe he should be older looking but I always saw Zandar as the runt of the family. Sure he is Zarana's twin but he never gets any respect so he appears younger.

I hear what you are saying about the pants but I am a bit torn (is that a pun?). The idea was that it would look like he had swiped them from a Joe like when Zartan put on the army uniform to sneak into the Joe base. Maybe a flat gray would work better. Hmmmm....

I do think I will make the shirt a darker navy color and not so green though and perhaps give him holsters for his two blade on the back of his belt at the small of his back.

Thanks everyone for the comments!

I like it quite a bit. Definitely has that Devil's Due vibe.
