An upgrade of my headquarters I made last December from my Pit:
(got a 2nd Pit now via a trade to help w/ parts)

One crit I had last time was that my HQ was too open... it was too confusing which
direction Cobra was attacking from, etc. This time I decided to give it walls and
a front gate. Luckily the Pit had great components for this, just needed some
hacksaw and hotglue work.

That looks like a lot of fun to have made and set up, and it's all really great.... But the first thing I noticed when I looked at it was "Why is there a step ladder for the invading bad guys right next to the door?" :-)

Still, big projects like that are a lot of fun!

I really like the gun rack/armory area. Did you just glue those guns to the wall?

Also, who's that bearded guy in the last pic? Chuck Norris??

Yep. I had a lot of extras, didn't mind fixing those permanently to create the effect.
I snipped off the beds with some tin shears and they're below in the bunker area
(not pictured) above the stockade.

I may do more with some ninja weapons for the dojo for Upgrade 2.

Absolutely. The Joes joined Chuck last year.

Regarding the step ladder near the front gate.... lol, I didn't even see that.
I suppose I could take Nova's suggestion and change the sign from
"GI Joe" to "Welcome Cobra, Enter Here"

Thanks for the comments!

Oh, that's awesome! The joes joined Chuck. 'Cause we all know that's the way it woukld go down.

Excellent work. I love your use of customs and figures from across the lines to make a "best of the best" Joe team. The armory is awesome as well.

I love what you did with the place :) The armory is terrific and that has to be the best lit command center ever :-D

Great work!
