Hi guys!

I posted this on another custom forum, so if it is against the rules to show it off here as well, please let me know and I'll delete the thread, or a mod can do it with my apologies!

Anyhoo - I'm a Night Adder fan - I always like unique Cobra agents over faceless hordes of hi-tech warriors. But that mask of him really irked me - it's not even unique to him! That's not what an individual character deserves. :-/

Thus, I gave him a unique face! I managed to keep most if not all the original head sculpt's look, so he fits in with the ROC series of actor-accurate designs. ;-)

Granted, it's sort of a LBC - but let me say this: paint matching SUCKS! I don't know how you guys do it! I think I mixed two types of brown, black and purple to get as close as I did, and I'm not sure it even worked! :-)

Head: A-Team B.A. Baracus
Torso: Original Night Adder (No changes)
Weapon: Marauder Gun Runners pistol

Please let me know what you think! : )

I like it however, I'm just wondering if you'd want to try and remove the mohawk somehow. I think without the mohawk it would look less obviously like a B.A. Baracus head, which at least to me, would be a good thing. Other than that, I totally agree with your comments about his facemask not even being unique to him being a downer, but at least to me, it looks a little to B.A.-y to work just yet. And as much as you hated doing it, kudos on the paint matching, it looks pretty darn good to me.

As far as i'm concerned, i think it's cool!

i don't necessarily think BA works for Cobra, but I could see this head under the NA mask!

For me there is only one B.A. Baracus and that it Mr. T, since the head is not a Mr. T head than I say that it works perfect for the Night Adder figure. This is a great custom head swap and paint job. I may steal this idea for another custom.

nice paint matching, it looks like ya did it. I don't see it as B.A. since I think the new A team sucks

I totally agree.
Now I have to buy that damn BA figure.

Thanks Joey, Tans, Bcost, Joemichaels, and KB! : D

I admit, I think the mohawk is a neat part of his look. I don't see 'Mr T' or B.A. Baracus (who are essentially synonymous) when I look at him. I do see Rampage though, and that's sort of why I like it - It's as if Quinton Jackson himself had a part in ROC! X- D

I think that works great, and the paint match looks spot on to me!

Great job on the paint match. I agree, that's one of the most tedious parts of customizing.

Thank you very, very much Dan, OFL and Doc! : ) I don't do customs often - but I love to lurk - and to know I didn't flub this one up is reassuring as heck haha XD

I will probably never color-match again, though - it's like the hobbyist version of fixing the oil leak... too many things can go wrong, too many close calls that don't count... ; )
