So had some spare parts laying around and threw this cyclops body down and they landed on top of a pair of DCIH Hawkman wings and I got inspired. So heres my take on a bunch of Mimics looks all bashed into one.



Parts

Head: Wolverine Origins Logan head with sculpted goggles and mask
Body: Wolverine Origins Cyclops
Arms: Wolverine Origins Maverick (to simulate Colossus' power)
Claws: Wolverine Origins Weapon X
Wings: DCIH Hawkman

Nothin spectacular, but I've been told I need to start posting my customs again, so here's a couple.




Ares is a comic pack Thor. Like Chief I wanted to show that this guy can be slavaged. Just sculpted the chest armor, and added a helmet and shinguards from some roman soldier toy that Joe showed me online and tada, Ares.

I actually have another version of Mimic in the works using different mutants powers, that one will have the big hands and feet and be alot bigger than this guy.

I like that you salvaged cool figs out of the assortment of parts you used. The mods to the Wolverine/Jackman head are cool, and Ares is just a cool figure all around.

Very nice...I like the look of the old-school Mimic compared to what he looks like running around now. It's pretty classic. And just because I haven't seen it, just how bad was the comic pack Thor you based Ares on? I've heard a lot of complaints but I've not seen one in person and few people have elaborated on just what its problems are.

Great work. I know why you chose the Cyclops head, but did he look like that in that costume? This is his Dark X-men outfit right? Minor quibble.

I dont think he looked how I made him in that costume, but this was just me taking parts of different costumes that I liked. I'm not sure if this is mainly based on his dark x-men costume because I never read that series. I based the look off of this pic though.


I kept his hair brown, added Maveric arms to represent him using the power of Colossus, and the Wolverine claws and Cyke goggles. I think he looks alot less like an Angel clone now, and i have another version in the works that is closer to his more known look.
