the infamous and always hated gi joe alien figure. i have been wanting to do the aliens of the lunatrix empire for a long time now. they're so funny, they just need to be done. this guy weighs like a pound now, due to all the sculpting i did on him. however, he is all still articulated except for the front feet. so i articulated the back ones. the head moves 360 degrees with a moving jaw and the tail swings!

parts:

head; crock-masters gator with breaker's gum for eyes. a crap-ton of modeling!
neck; 12-10 romex wire covered in modeling.
torso, arms and front legs and feet (modeled and web-gear kitbash); from crock master
back legs; breaker
web-gear kitbash, mostly from storm shadow
tail; cheap rubber tail from novelty toy store
neo viper guns

so this is my version of star brigade's stellar explorer...

In the words of Tex. EPIC WIN.

That is amazing work. Also using the breaker gum for eyes is inspired.

You know, I was watching Futurama when this came up on my screen and for a second I was disoriented. He looks like he'd fit right in there.

Very creative and innovative work with surprisingly cool results (surprising because I hated this chapter in Joe history).

Great job.

Very ambitious custom and it looks good from the front, but from the side all I see is an upside down baby gator sticking out of the neck. I don't have a good idea to help you disguise it but I find it distracting.

This is awesome. I'm kind of a closet Lobotomaxx fan anyway, but you really made something great here. I love the use of the gator for the head. Who am I kidding: I love everything about this custom. Fantastic work.
