I haven't had a lot of time lately for customs. These I've had on my dek in various stages for a while. I'm a big Batman fan, and as much as I like the DCIH, some figures just don't live up to expectations.

The first custom is Arkham inmate Harvey Dent. Straight out of maximum security cell-block 5150 comes prisoner AA-OU812. (Sorry, had to throw in the musical reference for those who caught it). I previewed his head in an earlier post and decided to finish him, though I still loathe painting orange.



The next custom is one I've tried on four or five occasions. I even stole parts from previous customs to make this one work. I must give props to Ironwill or Robulus for turning me onto using the Destro legs for Bats. I went a still further and used most of the body. I play with my boys, and our realm encompasses Star Wars, Ben-10, Joe and Super-heroes. I wanted a fully playable Bats, and this one actually works so far.


And finally Bruce Wayne...

I'm liking all of these. Inmate Harvey Dent is my favorite- mainly because I'm a sucker for prisoner customs, since that orange can be a bear to paint.

Thanks John, I'm planning on using this body as my default prison body for other characters. I plan on finishing my cell in the near future, and I figured this would make for a perfect inhabitant. Thanks for the encouragement as always.

I like what I see
Harvey is the best of the bunch, Bats is cool ..you did good even those neo viper arms are alright on him.
Bruce is ok I just don't care for the a team figures at all...
Keep crankin out some more good customs though

yeah, Dent is awesome. How does Bruce compare to Bats, size-wise? Unfortunately I'm anal about those kind of things, so I bashed a taller fig for my Bruce. I am impressed with how you painted the Airborne head to really capture the look of Bale though.

Yea. That prison suit is pretty marvelous. Not just in that it is some sweet ass "LASER BLAST", but in that it also gives us all ideas on what to do with all those crappy Wild Bill figures.

Not crazy about the proportions on Bats, but I can't put my finger on what feels off. Love the logo on him, though.

Thanks for the comments. I intentionally did not add the burn marks to Harvey's body so I could easy swap the heads and hands for other characters. I'll try to shoot some comparison shots with Bruce and Bats. My next task is a Batman Beyond fully playable figure that I'm awaiting the parts.

lol...the GI Joe dork in me truly expected to see battle android trooper customs... But these don't disappoint. Love the detail work on Harvey's head and the battle-worn feel to Batman excellent.
